The Fernie RV Resort offers 161 fully-serviced RV sites, (26 are pull-throughs) 11 tenting sites and 5 heated yurts. The resort is open year-round. The location is nestled between the Elk River, Fernie Golf Course and Maiden Lake. It is also close to Fernie’s shopping and dining services, and the Historic Downtown. The Riverside Resort Trail connects with the Fernie trail network for endless walking and biking and in Winter months the trail is groomed and connects with a Nordic network. Amenities include two family-style washrooms with private showers, sinks and toilets, 30 and 50 amp service, free WiFi, a professional laundry, kids’ playground, sani-dump and water fill-up station. Winter amenities include full-service winterized RV sites with all-weather plumbing, regular snow clearing of the sites and direct access to groomed multi-use and Nordic trails. In the summer, the sparkling waters of the Elk River winds its way beside the Resort, offering fly-fishing and float opportunities on the calm stretches in town. Hiking ranges from easy 2-hour waterfall strolls to the full-day iconic Heiko’s Trail across mountain passes. Mountain biking is well served with over 100 trails and a Bike Park, plus Dirt Jump Parks and so much more.

We loved our stay at Fernie RV Resort (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog). This was our first time tenting at a non-provincial park, and although the sites are closer and more open that what we're used to - the resort was spotless, and we loved having access to clean (and WARM) showers, washrooms and the wifi and power hookup was a nice bonus. Kids had fun at the playground and a quick bike (5m) to the beach. Instant access to so many bike trails was a big draw. It was fun to camp, but still be able to enjoy the amenities and restaurants of town. If you can tent on the forest side, it's worth the tiny upgrade fee. We'll be back!

We stayed one night in our camper van during winter. The campsite we reserved had electric hookups and warm washrooms close by. Clean, well maintained and gentle staff. We arrived late and they had left us an envelope with all the indications.

We recently spent over 2 weeks camped at this spot. The washrooms were regularly cleaned and sanitized and there is an abundance of hand sanitizer available on the outside of the shower blocks. We found the check-in was seamless. We could have easily stayed another week and we'll be back.

This is an excellent RV camping resort. I highly recommend it. All the facilities were thoroughly cleaned multiple times each day. The picnic tables, electrical outlets and water hookups were all sanitized immediately after each camper’s departure. All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The grounds were watered, weeded and raked continuously.

Great campground and well located in Fernie centre. Large grassy sites, well maintained, easy checking and strategically placed trees to provide future shade. Will go back in future to enjoy the mountain views, hiking and biking.

I stayed with Fernie Resort in July and August of 2020 while I was working in the area. The facilities are essentially brand new and were cleaned meticulously due to Covid. I never had any problems with my power or water. The open area I was in was more efficient for my onboard solar setup. Access to groceries and supplies was nearby, but far enough removed to be out of view. Quiet hours were quiet and being across the river from the main highway meant little to no traffic noise.
The real standout though was managements understanding wrt billing when I had to enter an unplanned Covid "close contact" isolation period and leave the campground early. Management was easy to talk to, non-combative, and very understanding of my situation. I was very appreciative of this, and would higly recommend staying with them.

We rented a yurt, the mattress was super comfortable, running hot and cold water
For the dish wash area and awesome showers and laundry services. Well designed and well organized. Close to the grocery store and next to the river and small swimming lake.

This was our second stay at Fernie RV Resort. There has been changes to the resort since our last stay 3 years ago. The staff was always busy keeping the site clean and answering questions that arose. They were able to accommodate us to make sure that a family member was looked after with full hook-ups to operate medical equipment. We will be returning in the future to use the RV Park.

Well maintained and conveniently located RV Resort. Our pull through site was south facing and with it being a new resort and a lack of mature trees, there was no shadow to speak of unless we would sit on the back side of our trailer. Wind made it tricky to keep the awning down.
Shower buildings and laundry were very nice and well kept. Showers in the early evening were mostly cold which was a bit of a disappointment for the price paid.
Would book again though as it was a pleasant experience overall.

This is a quiet campground. There is a train and highway through town however both are located a good distance from town.
