This small cozy property is set in the picturesque town of Radium Hot Springs where the flowers and the scenery are as plentiful as the big horn sheep that call it home. The Gateway is located on Highway 93, just a short 5 minutes from the entrance of Kootenay National Park and it's world famous Radium Hot Springs. With spectacular mountain views overlooking the Columbia Valley, an afternoon can easily slip away relaxing in the warm sun. We take pride in providing reasonably priced accommodation, exceptionally clean rooms and superior guest service. All units offer air-conditioning and wireless Internet access. We have a range of rooms to meet your needs. Our rooms are the cleanest in the valley, 100% NON-SMOKING and exceptionally comfortable. The hot springs, restaurants, golf courses and hiking trails are only minutes away. So, why not spend some time in Radium Hot Springs and discover why we love to call this place home. The motel is very clean, rooms are well appointed. I recommend booking a larger room which comes with a fridge and a microwave, the small room doesn't have enough space if you have a lot of luggage or gear. Breakfast is excellent and always fresh. The sitting areas around the property are well done and comfortable - enjoyed relaxing there in the shade. The view of the mountains off the back sitting area is lovely. Motel also provided us with extra towels to take to the hot springs, so we didn't have to buy them or rent them. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed at this tiny roadside motel while visiting the town. The motel is tiny but very pretty, the management have done a great job with gorgeous flowers spilling over the railings, each room is tiny but nicely appointed. The soaps and toiletries are very nice, lemongrass and smelled wonderful, the all white linens and thick fluffy towels were sparkling clean, as was the room. We had an upstairs room with a shared balcony walkway, each room has a small table and chairs outside the door but at the end of the balcony, hallway there is a lovely seating area with a nice fire feature as well as a high top table and chairs to enjoy the view. The breakfast was a nice surprise! There is a chalkboard out front of the office telling you the days breakie special, when we arrived that day was French toast bake assorted fruits, yogurts, juice and coffee/tea, our morning was a toasted English muffin breakfast sandwich, apple, banana, yogurt, 2 huge slices of banana chocolate bread, mango juice and coffee, specialty’s coffees were available for a fee. They serve you breakfast on a tray you take to your room or have in the seating area, it was very convenient, the food was really good and a nice surprise. The rooms are very tiny, very tiny, but comfortable, the management has done a really good job upgrading this small older hotel, it really is charming and looks just like there cover photo. We were able to walk into town for dinner and see the town, very convenient spot.. Staff were friendly and helpful, this was a really nice stop over on our trip.

We loved our stay at The Gateway Motel in Radium. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hosts were wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean, air-conditioned, and we even received some lovely chocolate treats in the room upon arrival. There was a wonderful relaxing space behind the motel with chairs and a propane fire pit to enjoy the mountain view. Finally, a delicious breakfast was served in the morning and we even had a choice of coffee, lattes, mochas, macchiatos etc. I would highly recommend The Gateway Motel, and I know we would love to visit there again. the room was amazingly clean. Owners are very helpful and nice people; cleaned the snow from the car with snow blower without even asking for. I stayed on New Year Eve, want to see this place in the summer time, the view should be less foggy I guess. Definitely will stay there again

We were in Invermere for a quick overnight stay and I found this place online, very reasonably priced with solid reviews. The woman on the phone and at reception was friendly and welcoming.
They gave us a large room which was clean and comfortable - it is Covid days so we grabbed some takeout from the Austrian place across the street and had a very cozy night in.
We had a pet with us who unfortunately made a poor elimination choice on her way out for a night-time pee. I was felt terrible about it, but the owners were incredibly gracious and understanding.
The rooms were well above average and the owners truly care about giving you a great experience. This will be my go-to accommodation next time I'm in the area.

Terrific hosts, friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, with well-considered details and design, including real art on the wall! A very comfortable bed, individual heating controls in the bathroom and main room, and a cozy electric fireplace! A delicious hot breakfast and seriously good coffee.
We were happy to get the last room and can see why the Gateway was full. We look forward to the next visit!

Very comfortable, welcoming staff and the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel! A tiny room with a comfy bed and good bathroom. It snowed overnight and the owner cleaned the snow off our vehicles. Totally unexpected kindness!

This family run hotel has a boutique hotel feel. We opened the door to cedar lining one one wall, crisp white linens and a newly renovated bathroom with locally sourced botanical soaps.
Our room was sparkling clean and had been warmed up prior to our arrival. Mountain views from the room were lovely. The interior and exterior of this 'alpine chalet' are extremely well maintained.
The owner asked us what time we would like our breakfast tray and then provided fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, and a cinnamon roll. (NOT your average complimentary breakfast.)
Additional amenities include a fitness centre, sauna, fire pits, barbeques, and picnic tables.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem through serendipity, and highly recommend it.

I was just driving through and happened upon this little gem. The owners are lovely and so welcoming. The rooms are spotless with little thoughtful extras that really made our stay feel special. The breakfast (and coffee) were delicious. I definitely recommend this little gem for a getaway or just a quick stopover. I hope to return for longer next time.

As soon as you arrive, you feel right at home with the personal greeting from Joe. He explained the property, how to order breakfast and how to get to the lovely oasis in the back of the motel. He introduced his family along with his 2 golden retrievers and a tortoise outside.
The room was a good size with 2 double beds, very clean and complete with chocolates on the rolled up towels on the beds. The beds were very comfortable and nice soft pillows.
The breakfast is delightful. Joe and his wife Erin make the homemade breakfast which consists of a main entre which changes everyday, fruit, yogurt and the best coffee I’ve tasted. They also offer specialty coffees too. We had a breakfast sandwich the first day and quiche the next morning. They put it on a tray to take it to eat in your room or what we did was eat it on the bistro tables outside your room. Everything following COVID 19 protocol and we felt very safe.
We really enjoyed our stay at the motel and we’re planning on returning when the hot pool opens in the fall.

This room has a full kitchen with a living area and pull out sofa. There are two separate bedroom areas on the other side which is accessible via a shared door.
Yes, dogs are allowed but there is a 'pet fee' added to the price of the room. It is best to phone the motel directly to see if they can accommodate you and your dog as they have a certain amount of pet friendly rooms available and they can let you know their policy and answer any questions you may have at that time as well.
