Stayed for two days during the Alberta Winter Games. Beds were sooo comfy, bathroom big, bright and clean. Had a kitchenette room, and although we didn't use it, a small burner unit is available as well as a microwave, fridge and all utensils, glassware, etc. Very quiet hotel - never heard any noise either night, even though the hotel was full due to the Games.

This hotel is consistently a stellar place to stay! We booked short notice returning home from Waterton. The hotel is modern, bright, clean and welcoming. It has a 5 star feel without the 5 star price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk administrator was patient while answering multiple questions on the phone in addition to guests checking in. The room was clean and cosy with modern decor. Sanitizing wipes, kitchen utensils and a mini freezer inside the mini fridge are details that matter when you are settling in with your luggage, food and kids. This isn’t my first booking and it certainly won’t be my last.

My expectations were by far exceeded by my first stay in this lovely little hotel! All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure that we had everything that we needed!
It was our first stay in a hotel with my young children and our dog. Knowing it was a pet friendly hotel, I was surprised at how very clean and quiet the entire hotel was, despite the parking lot being full of guests!
The rooms were immaculate, the bedding was plush and luxurious! The kitchenette suite was perfect, and was chosen specifically with our family needs in mind by the Manager herself, Rhonda. She provided exceptional and professional customer service!
The front desk attendants were always attentive and cheerful! Anything we requested, they provided promptly!
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the complimentary breakfast offered gluten free items!
We were also able to use the spacious, private boardroom, computers and printer for our business needs.
Unfortunately, the exercise room was closed due to Covid, but upon a personal tour, we are enticed to use it next time!
We will definitely enjoy staying here on our future travels!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property, once again and everything was good
Only issue was we requested a late checkout and housekeeping staff came to the door at 11:00 to see when we were leaving.
From reading the last review I would say it is possibly an unsolicited review from a disgruntled employee. My wife was at the front desk when she overheard Brooklyn,front desk agent, tell housekeeping room 419 was a 3:00 checkout, when in fact we were for 3:00 and were in room 409. Housekeeping advised 419 was in fact vacant.
We have had no issue with the internet and we have stayed numerous times since the hotel opened. Breakfast and coffee have always been ready even times when we have been down right at 6:00 am or 7:00 am on weekends.
I have since heard employee in question quit. We will be back in Canada in March and will once again stay at this property.
Taylor checked us in upon our arrival along with a new staff member Cheri and we couldn't have felt more welcome.

We chose the Best Western Gateway Hotel because of it's easy access to Hwy 567 so we could visit friends in East Airdrie. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is in a busy location but we never once heard any traffic noise. We travelled with our pet Chi and he never barked once because of noise. Breakfast was varied depending on your preferences and in the afternoon there was fresh baked cookies beside the coffee machine that dispensed lattes and hot chocolate. It was so handy to shopping if we had needed anything.

We stayed at this hotel for six weeks waiting for our new home to be available. During our stay I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was always clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable We had a room with a kitchenette which met our needs. The hotel supplied dishes, utensils and cutlery in the room. There are many amenities within a short walk such as a large grocery store, restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway but not too close where noise becomes an issue. There was a continental breakfast every morning with a decent variety of options. Hot water and coffee was available all day. The gym closed for renovations but I’m sure it will be open again soon. We would 100% stay here again.

This is our favourite hotel to stay when visiting Calgary and the surrounding area. Our most recent visit did not disappoint. Check-in was seamless and our room spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The best thing about this Best Western Plus is the warm and friendly staff. The maintenance workers, cleaning staff and manager all made an effort to greet us, ask us if we needed anything throughout our stay. The location is perfect for visiting Calgary or on a longer road and it won’t break the bank.

I've stayed in this specific hotel twice now and honestly it's going to be my go to every time I need to be in Calgary. The location is so convenient, the staff is so welcoming, and the rooms are perfect for longer business trips. The kitchenette rooms are a life (and money) saver that come fully equipped with cutlery, pots, dishes, etc. I was able to go to the grocery store next to the hotel and feed myself properly for my 4 day stay.
