This not-so-young facility was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The air-conditioning unit was quiet and worked like a charm.

After a long tenuous winding trip from Calgary, this hotel was a perfect location for the tired travellers before home in Surrey. Unfortunately, there was no elevator for upstairs, so we were compelled to carry heavy baggage to the second floor suite. The most positive item in the hotel is warm cinnamon bun with melting butter for breakfast, so we enjoyed it. The receptionist was very kind and helpful when we arrived late at dark. Thank you.

The service was exceptional from the front desk lady and the lady doing cleaning the rooms was very pleasant. The room was very clean and the air conditioner was modern and quiet. I feel the breakfast was not set up as well as it could of been.

We had not made a reservation in advance as we were unsure of winter road conditions/weather. Upon arriving in Salmon Arm late afternoon, we stopped at the Visitor Center for pet-friendly rooms and decided upon Sure Stay BW due to availability, price and amenities. Close to restaurants, a dog park, and the hwy. No regrets.

This BW Surestay is a great place to break up the journey from the Island to Central Alberta. We had a pet with us so walking our dog is a key ingredient to our stay and this location offers great walking access. Distance off the transCanada made for a quiet sleep which is another reason we select this hotel. Rooms are a bit dated and quarters a little tight but for our purposes we will continue to use this location on future travels. Service and cleanliness are top drawer. Breakfast is available and could use some beefing up but it gets your started. Coffee was fresh and good.

On my way from Vancouver to South Edmonton, in late December, through snow and an ice storm, my vehicle broke down 20 minutes outside of Sicamous, BC. I was able to limp the SUV back to Salmon Arm for repairs, and the Best Western (which was the closest hotel to the dealership), took us in for the 4 days it took to get parts/repaired and be on the road again. Everyone was wonderful. The room was a Queen bed, with a couch and a large bathroom. We also had a huge TV, microwave and a good size fridge with freezer top. Plenty of room for one person and a small dog to enjoy while we waited. The cleaning staff checked on me daily for any needs, the front desk staff were helpful and kind and continued to allow me to extend my stay until I was able to leave. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The hospitality was great. And for those who have a vehicle -- parking is free. Plus, there is breakfast available.

Stayed one night at July end at $190+ which is considered expensive given the quality of the stay. Actually it should be named as a Motel instead of Hotel because it is a 2-storey old hotel with cars parking at the door entrance of each room. I was assigned a room at the ground floor and when I entered into the room, some bugs followed in. At first I blamed myself bringing in the insects but soon I realized that there were already a few inside the room : 2 flies, several mosquitoes and a big flying object. Immediately I understand that bugs can easily get into the room every time the door is opened. The air-conditioning is noisy and at night I can hear the noise from upstairs (footsteps and toilet flush). With the bugs and noises, I couldn't have a good sleep.
The floor is dirty. After just a few minutes, the soles of my slippers turned from white to black. The breakfast can be ignored.
Just don't understand why it is rated No. 3 hotel in Salmon Arm.

After a drive that was filled with reduced speed limits, flag persons, and equipment, the check in was a welcoming change. We were well informed about the facility and a reminder of a major detour we would be encountering the next day. All very useful information. The room was nicely furnished and well equipped. Breakfast was a real treat with hot items along with a variety of other items. The checkout staff member was friendly, informative, and efficient. Simply put, we will stay there again.

We travel back and forth between Vancouver and Radium a couple of times a year, and every year we use this hotel as our halfway stopover. It's just off the highway, but back far enough that you don't hear the traffic all night; it's comfortable, clean and, frankly, pretty cozy. Easy to check in and out, decent breakfast included in the stay and with a hot tub to relax in after a 5hr drive, I imagine we will continue to use it as our "Halfway Stop" whenever we're traveling through the area.

Despite complaining each day, housekeeping just dropped new towels each day, never cleaned or made the bed. The manager refused to call after I left a message each day. The hot tub was broken which I was never told at the time of booking. I gave the manager 3 days to rectify this after I checked out. I would not have left a negative review had I not been ignored. Find another property. There are lots in Salmon Arm. I had another 5 night stay booked at this same property in two weeks, I cancelled.

Hi, yes, I am sorry for the confusion. We were pet friendly and then we just did a huge, all room, renovation during which time we did not have pet rooms available. But, the good news is...YES! We are pet friendly and will be staying this way! Hope to see you and your pets stay with us in the future!
