Camped at this location Jun28 thru July 10/21.
This is a very nice campground, it’s not elaborate but provides all of the basics of what is required.
The facility is neat and clean, sites are well maintained and there are a variety to suit any style of camping.
We had a site that was new and never used before the site was nice but overpriced.
The staff and owners were friendly and hard working.
We would definitely return but not to the site we had

We had a pull through site up by the ponds and had to find our own way there. It was fairly level and full services. Arrived on a Tuesday mid afternoon and found our site reservation taped to the door. Office is closed Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. Told to check in and settle up Thursday am. No firewood for sale - apparently they don’t sell it after Labour Day. They have a dog walk but not a dog park and no baggie dispensers anywhere. There are Lots of recycling bins but garbage is outside the front gate and no pickup like other KOA’s. This KOA suited our purposes but definitely not like the KOA’s we are used to. Probably would not stay here again once we discovered the municipal parks in Meaford and Owen Sound. No service, nothing special here for the price.

Quiet campground. No traffic noise at all. Clean washrooms. The tent sites are under the trees. A little bit sloped and humid but you can make it work. Direct access to the Bruce Trail behind the two ponds. Rec room (pool, fuss ball and table hockey). Little swimming pool. Volley ball. Free one hour wifi access by person. And they don’t impose a 3 night stay on long weekends. Too bad the check out is so early (11am). Only 10 minutes from Owen Sound and grocery’s.

This was the 2nd time to this place and what a difference a year makes. I realize they have new owners but they nickel and dime you to death. Approx 8 to 10 pieces of firewood $16. You can have 2 parents and 2 kids at a site for the same price but you Can't have 4 adults without paying extra, most of the parks amenities are for the kids. To park an extra vechicle you have to pay $3 a night. The washrooms stalls are okay but for the older people they could have a handle bar on one wall to help them stand. To ask any questions in the office there is a long wait because they only have 1 person working. The grass cutting is very rough. And the office closes so if you don't have reservations you are SOL. To pick your own site even if it is available you have to pay $20 extra. The check out time is 11am which way to early because you don't see any work being done before that, noon would be a better time. Won't be back.

This campground is poorly run. There was garbage (beer cans and water bottles) scattered around the full firewood cage. The old lady at the front desk was very rude and seemed to enjoy that. This campground was very loud at night with no noise restrictions being followed. Also watch your kids as there are no speed limits and people were driving like they were on a racetrack.
If you want to have a campfire you are pretty much sitting on the street. Oh ya there were people sitting on the street with their tables and would not move for other vehicles.
Washrooms were dingy and smelled musty. The pool was pre booked and could not get a spot.
Bring your own wood the new owners who avoid any form of communication drive around and drop off 10 pieces of wood that they charged you $16 for. Most people were told that they were sold out and to go down the road 10 minutes for wood. The fire wood cage that had garbage around it was full of chopped wood.
Find another campground this place will not put you anywhere near your friends even when you pay the KOA markup to reserve a spot. The miserable old lady at the desk doesn’t care and Blames everything on the new owners rules. I guess the new owners are more concerned about their rules then having a clean, family campground.
There are other campgrounds near Owen Sound. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Campground is more concerned about what you can’t do than what you can. First impressions walking into the office is all the signage of rules to follow.

Staff are openly condescending of other campers in front of guests. Pool is closed on Wednesdays to “give staff a break”, leaving guests without access to one of the amenities they’re paying for. Unlike other KOAs, no planned activities.

Sites are unlevel and offer no privacy from the campfire next to you.

Stayed here for 5 night in late June 2024. We have stayed at many KOA locations throughout Canada & the States. Consistency is a benchmark. Far from it at this KOA. No cable vision (one over the air station), you get one hour of wifi per day and $3.99/hr. after that. Surveillance cameras everywhere including looking directly down on our campsite from a post on the site as seen in the photo. There are signs and rules posted everywhere. A very high percentage of seasonal sites which is fine but the overnight type sites tend to be small and very close. Numerous recycling bins at the comfort station with detailed instructions on what goes where. No garbage bins. Washrooms quite old but they were clean. It seems to be run by three people who seem to do everything including site maintenance with a small asphalt roller that is extremely noisy and disruptive. Regrettably, this KOA does not meet their standard. There is a much nicer campground just a short distance away, closer to Owen Sound where we would have stayed had we known about it.

This camp ground is very clean and beautiful but it’s very noisy and no patrol during night time!!!!
We stayed here for 2 nights Friday and Saturday. Especially, it’s terribly noisy during weekend. The people are playing music after 11:00 pm so loudly. So, I’m writing this review now. We can not sleep well because even after 11:00 pm it is very noisy here! Basically, there is a regulation which is we have to be quiet after 11:00 pm. I don’t want to recommend here to stay with your family! I wanted to do something for the people next to my site(#92) but there are no people in the office and no patrol here.
They need to set something up for their rule during night time.

They have blocked all access to the trails. Incl. The Bruce Trail. The Asian couple running this KOA were very hostile and unhelpful when I got lost on the trail and had to cut through the empty campground. They told me to go back the way I came...which was 4km back through the woods instead of letting me go to the Street 50 feet away. Really awful people and I would never stay here or recommend it.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. That was until we came back with new management. Service=none. Booked firewood delivery, by 20h00 still no firewood! Time for bed for little ones! Need anything at the store/service, slow slow service, waited 20 minutes just to check in (only one person ahead of me in line). Was not impressed. We stayed at other KOA since COVId and they do a great cleaning between, etc. This one had nothing.. just timings to keep people limited.
