This was our second stay at this hotel. In the winter, this hotel really shines when it's cold outside, and the fireplace and jacuzzi are welcome amenities. Not the newest hotel, but clean enough, everything worked, nothing broken, damaged or worn. We find the beds here very comfortable, and we find this hotel very quiet, even when it's full. It's unfortunate that Days Inns seem to have discontinued providing a breakfast of any kind during COVID, when other similar chains, i.e. Travelodge, DO serve a hardy bag breakfast, and yet other chains still provide an included hot breakfast. Also, as a two-night stay, we noticed housekeeping did not enter the room between the nights, again, other chains, such as Travelodge DO a touch-up in the room between nights on longer stays. Fortunately, ice was available, and cups and glasses, etc were stocked in the room. Staff were reasonably friendly.

My boyfriend and I booked one night just to get out of Calgary. We brought our little dog - we booked the Days Inn specifically because it was affordable and allowed dogs. I was very happy with the pet fee of $15, lower than most. We were done our activities in the area earlier than planned and were allowed an early check in which was nice. The women at the desk when we arrived was so welcoming and pleasant, I wish I got her name so I could let the hotel know how great she was. Our room was perfect for having a dog, we had direct access to a gravel outdoor area via a sliding door in our room so we didn’t have to go through the hallway and main entrance to get outside for bathroom breaks. The room was clean and comfortable. Restaurants and coffee shop close by, Main Street is a short drive. We were surprised the breakfast included hot scrambled eggs and bacon, not just the expected toast, muffins, yogurt cups, etc. The only disappointment was - and this is not the hotel’s fault - we intended to drink wine and watch movies so we brought our Apple TV but unfortunately the internet connection is open source so we couldn’t use it to access any of our streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, etc). This is not a high end “fancy” hotel but it was just want we were looking for on a budget.

Average maintained hotel. One bed was definitely not clean...We asked to have it cleaned, which they did. We booked because of the good rate including breakfast. We we shocked to be informed that "no" more breakfast were included because of COVID". I showed the supervisor my reservation on their site that showed "continental breakfast included". She offered 10pc off the total rate we've paid for the room.
The beautiful terrace on the picture is quite misleading. We also booked this hotel because of this feature...( enjoying the view and sunset)...but only for few rooms on second floor. We moved to one of these rooms with one king size bed and we asked for a matress to put on the floor as we were 3 persons.. Aside from that the Days Inn is well located.

The hotel is old and not up kept at all . The lobby floors were dusty. Our room the bathtub we had to wash it out before we could use it , it had hair and dirt in it from the last people who stayed in the room. The white shower curtain was all stained up . The bathroom had a musty urine smell to it and the bathroom fan did not work. When we were brought extra towels there was a couple of them that had long course black hair stuck in them. The breakfast room was shut down because of the covid but the door was left open and someone had went in and opened all cereal dispensers and there was cereal scattered all over the counter tops , boxes thrown all over it looked like someone had trashed the place. We were there for two nights and just before we went home they finally cleaned it and closed the door.

Don't waste your time at this hotel, there are tons of other places to stay in Canmore! Very disappointed with the suite we were put in as its right under the front doors and every time the doors would open the room would shake. Did ask if we could be moved and staff was very rude. Upon checking in at 4pm they were still cleaning and vacuuming in the hallways and had to jump over all the cleaning supplies to get to our room. Seemed we were more of a bother to them! Breakfast food was stale and low budget vs other hotels that are in the same price range!

We made a reservation at the Days Inn specifically because
(a) Wyndham has a good reputation
(b) The Wyndham site advised that not all Wyndham properties had breakfast during the COVID-19 pandemic (c) the website for the Days Inn specifically advised that their breakfast was available, and confirmed it on booking the hotel.

First, on checking in the clerk advised that breakfast was not available, and later the manager offered an energy bar, juice drink and a piece of fruit. Due to allergies to many food additives and diabetes it is necessary to check the food before consuming it; most energy bars contain additives to which I am allergic and boxed juices usually have a high sugar content. The manager confirmed that the usual breakfast include eggs, protein such as bacon or sausage, a variety of cereal, milk, juice and a variety of breads, bagels and English muffins. He stated that due to COVID-19 the usual breakfast was not being provided and when shown the printed confirmation that included breakfast, just shrugged.

Second, the room was not clean. Under the desk was a dirty used fork (which I turned into the front desk clerk (with the manager present). The bathtub had a previous guest's hair in it, clearly visible. The clerk and the manager just shrugged when these things were brought to their attention. The manager refused to adjust the price to reflect the breach of the contract/lack of amenities and dirty condition of the room.

Reserved two rooms for two nights in Canmore through Wyndham website, breakfast included, but the staff apologized that the hotel had to stop serving breakfast. The hotel staff could not offer an alternative for the breakfast and referred me to the manager (no authority to offer an alternative, and no clear policy for this cancellation of service). I tried to talk to the manager in 3 different times (asked receptionists) and I was not lucky enough (manager had a holiday on Monday, and afternoon shifts on Tue and Wed). When checking out, the receptionist called the manager (knowing that I am trying to reach him since 2 days, and trying to connect me to him), but the manager asked her to take my number and she promised that he will call me back to settle this down. Three days have passed yet I got no call, no email and no voice message from the manager!
I had to spend around $200 for the 2 days breakfast of the whole family (2 quad rooms for 2 nights).

My fiancé and I checked in here last night for a one night stay. My sister and her husband also had a room. From booking a month ago to checkout today, our experience was easy and efficient. We didn’t check in until after 8 pm and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing. He was super friendly and efficient.
We found the room to be very clean, not a dust bunny in sight! The carpet was clean looking as was the bathroom floor. The beds were very comfortable and had sparkling white linens that were super cozy. We had 6 pillows for two queen beds and they were great. The room decor was quite nice with lots of storage and everything in good shape. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub that we did not use. The shower pressure and temperature was perfect for us. We had more towels than necessary and they were clean and soft. The coffee station was well stocked and organized. Due to covid restrictions we decided to order in Pizza for dinner and the front desk recommended a great place and told us to come by if we needed plates, napkins and utensils.
We travel a few times a year, staying in similar hotels/motels and Days Inn Canmore really delivered a great experience for us.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is an older hotel, so it's nothing fancy and doesn't look spectacular. If simply looking for a place to crash, it will do. If looking for a new, stylish, less musty place then this isn't the place for you. No elevator. Our room had a bit of an odd smell. Kitchenette is tiny (small burners, not much space), but it worked. There is a pull out couch, but it wasn't made and we had to track down sheets. Laundry wasn't done so they didn't have any top/warm blankets. Website still advertises breakfast and isn't updated to say they are providing NOTHING (excuse is because of COVID!) Hubby travels and has been to lots of hotels since COVID and all of them continue to provide some sort of bagged or grab and go breakfast.

Stayed for two nights as a family of 5. Check-in was quick and easy. We had room 210, double bed and bunk beds, and access to a shared balcony and a really nice view of the mountains. The room was clean and warm and comfortable. The bed and pillows were super nice. My wife and I are larger folk, and even though the bed was a double, I could not even feel my wife shifting around on her side. Large desk space for setting up all the electronics and chargers. TV seemed to be about 40" and two comfy club chairs for comfy viewing. Bathroom was nice and large, and the shower was AMAZING! Lots of hot water, and that showerhead was like an exfoliating treatment. Bagged breakfast was a juice box, a sweet and salty granola bar, a delicious muffin, and a large seedless orange. Nothing fancy, but sufficient to start the day. Kyle at the front desk was very friendly and professional, and even allowed my family to check out just a little bit later than the normal time when we requested it. Thanks, Kyle! :)
Overall, an excellent stay and we will certainly stay here again the next time we're visiting the area.

We're just travellers. We've stayed here a few times, and had a fireplace a couple of times. Our experience has been that sometimes they have pictures of rooms with fireplaces, but not all have one. Unless the word fireplace is mentioned in the Wyndham website room description, it probably doesn't. The hotel is a decent value, but on the last couple of times we stayed, we thought the room could have been cleaner.
