This establishment needs to be shut down! My best friend and I stopped in for one night, dropped our bags and left till later. When we came back in the evening we noticed the room smelt awful, we started to snoop around and the absolute disgust we saw we kept calling and calling the front desk with no answer. We went to the front and use the night phone and finally got a response. The lady was super nice told us that room hadn’t been used in months, and hadn’t been cleaned since she started working there. After a conversation we found out she had just been released from jail for some drug charges. We were transferred to another room at almost midnight but despite that room being in better condition we barely slept for just how disgusting this place was. The pictures speak for themselves! There was hair and food on the mattress and red stains all over the protector, for a non smoking room there was burns on the alarm clock and lamp, the phone was dusty, mold on the fridge shelves, hair on the sheets, the floors were so beyond dirty, the sink was rotting out so the water leaked everywhere despite the attempt for a bucket to collect it, an exacto knife on the floor, I can’t even explain how gross it was! The pictures will speak for themselves! When we confronted the owner he didn’t care about our concerns and said we switched you rooms and that’s all we need to do, no offer for a credit or even a breakfast at their restaurant, nothing. There is no pride of ownership at this place and I can see why it’s been for sale for such a long time!

My family and dog were turned out into the cold and we were refused service. Terrible treatment, the owner had a temper tantrum at a customer when I arrived, and I got to witness it for over 6 minutes. He was yelling at the customer(appearantly the man had a dog and the owner hated it). When it was my turn at the desk the owner took an entire minute and a half of letting me fill out a registration for when he snatched the pen and paper from my hands right off the counter. He was out of control and was yelling at me because I was not helping him run the last customer down, and I had a pet. Don't support this guy, he is some european rich inherited child who abuses local workers (always looking for employees), customers, and their families too.
The man kicked me out of his establishment out into the cold because I didn't participate in insulting his customer, and he dislikes pets appareantly. Good show. The place is run down, dirty, out of date, the kitchen looked worse than my corrals, and flies and dust are everywhere, and most rooms are missing screens. Holes in the walls and curtains don't help, and neither does this caustic human beings temper tantrums.

Rooms filthy dirty, old looking and have no opening windows with screens - flies come right in. Owner unfriendly and unattentive to customers. Owner's daughter(?) was argueing on phone with someone for all to hear when I tried to book in - very uncomfortable situation I had to listen to for a couple of minutes. Food in restraunt is mediocre at best, however, the waitresses try hard to serve you their best but seem nervous and on edge as the daughter seems to be in charge of restraunt. She seems like a tyrant. Not at all impressed with this place and will never be back and do not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We stayed here Sept. 2009 Paid $ 76.00 +Tax. Traveling on motorcycles, this motel is OLD...DIRTY...GRUNGY...Room was filled with flies, no screen door on the room. Exterior entances with parking in front of the rooms IF you can get a spot before all the crews return from their work that day. 1950's fixtures in bathroom, beds old & worn out, carpet filty, windows disgustingly filthy, OUTDOOR POOL EMPTY & Cracked, Detached restaurant is no screaming hell to eat at. Motel Staff unfriendly. Could not get connected into their supposed Wireless Internet & the staff unwilling to help. Need we say more! This town is also over run with RATS so make sure you don't have any in your vehicle when you leave.

Great service any problems and Gus has got you. Great guy we had a problem with our room booking he was over in a heartbeat to help unlock two more rooms for us and we were good to go. Room was fairly clean

I had planned on stopping over in Swift Current for the night and was looking to pay about $100 at a place with breakfast included ... there were several listed and reviewed on this site. As I drove into town from the west the '$50 a night rooms' sign caught my eye so I turned around to check it out. Before booking in, I took a look at the room they were offering and found it was quite fine as far as I was concerned. After settling in, I looked at the reviews on this site and found that not only were they old reviews (the most recent being 2016), but were all completely negative. Being a regular contributor on here, I figured I would post a review that reflected what I found when I stayed here, and take a few photos to post as well. For the price, I found the room to be quite fine - large enough, with a comfortable bed and strong, hot shower. There was a 32" LCD tv with plenty of channels to watch and controls that worked just fine. Included in the room were a large fridge, coffee maker and good free wifi - 3 things that were not included in rooms I have paid more for. Although just off the highway, it was quiet at night with only the occasional large truck going by that could be heard. It is certainly no $100+ room, but is quite suitable for an overnight stop if you are on a budget and don't feel the need for 'fancy'. The $50 I saved bought me a very nice breakfast the next morning, and I drove away feeling good about the extra $40 I had left in my wallet. Perhaps it is different in summer if there are a lot of work crews in the area, but I found no reason not to consider staying here again on my next trip through. A good stop if you are on a budget and are simply looking for a decent place to hang your hat for the night.

Rooms not clean, tv remote not working properly and room heater not working well?..
I will not return to this "K Motel" on my way back from Toronto and, most definitely would not recommend this K Motel other than easy access to the highway!.....
