We stayed at the Best Western Plus Waterfront for two nights, and we enjoyed great breakfast, quiet rooms, and very polite and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our time spent in Windsor. It was also very conveniently located to the tunnel transit and the casino making it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Very nice hotel located right on Riverside Dr with stunning views. clean, staff is attentive and the breakfast buffet is outstanding! Food is abundant and variety is great all is fresh and the Staff ....... is on top of it not one of them was standing around they all were cleaning , replenishing and attending to any concerns and queries. I notice a little girls mother who was asking for something that she had request for her allergies and instantly the kitchen attendant brought it right out 👍👍👍. The hotel is being renovated and I’m sure will only increase their hospitality

We checked in around 2:30 pm. Check in went smoothly. We went up to our room which was a partial river view. The room was spacious with 2 beds. I found the bed comfortable. It has 2 pillows on each side, one is firm and one is softer. I thought that was good that it gave you options. The hotel was having issues with the elevators. Only 1 was operating near the lobby, so waiting for one took quite awhile. You could use the service elevators around the corner from the lobby also but we would wait for one and it was full of people most of the time so we ended up taking the stairs. They offer a free breakfast so in the morning we went down to the dining area to eat. Breakfast options needs to be improved. The have waffle makers available that you have to make it yourself. Nothing wrong with that but it would be nice to maybe have some ready made for guests. They have a coffee maker also but it was not very good. Tim Horton's is around the corner as well. Other breakfast options are pretty basic....they had toasting machines and have cereals and some fruit also. On check out day we waited so long for an elevator that we decide to take the stairs. 9 flights of stairs isn't the greatest way to have to go especially when carrying all your luggage. I really hope they fix the elvators sooner than later. If you decide to stay here I recommend getting a room with a view of the river. The view is amazing!

We had this hotel booked for June and then COVID hit. All hotels in the area were closed and the government mandated NO travel and even during stage 3 of the pandemic we were advised not to travel to Windsor; however, they had no problem charging our room when we did not arrive at the hotel. We had reservations at another hotel and there was nothing we had to do with our reservation and we weren't charged. BW had the nerve to LIE and tell us and the credit card company that they reached out to confirm our reservation and they absolutely did not. Very unprofessional and not a hotel we will ever stay at again.

We took at family trip to Windsor and decided to stay here, I have 2 young children. First, we waited an hour in the lobby to check in as we had amiscommunication on their part with credit card info. when we finally get up to our room(nap time for my baby) the room hadn’t been touched since before the last guest. The beds were not made and there was hair and dirty towels in the bathroom. After speaking with front desk (Julie) twice about our dirty room they ended up switching us to a different room (another hour wait as the elavators are broken and you have to wait 20mins to get from floor to floor). Also the parking garage they sent us to, makes you pay everytime you leave when they say you just have to pay $15 a day. After speaking to the supervisor about the entire experience he was not sincere or apologetic at all. Over all, I am very dissapointed with the service we recieved and nothing was offered for a compensation. I will be spreading my terrible experience with my friends and family and we will not be attending this hotel again. Terrible experience, and terrible customer service recieved at this hotel. Pretty dissapointing when this is the first BW with such bad service

We stayed here before a few years ago and decided to return. The panoramic views are amazing if you get one of those rooms. Parking is $15 and unfortunately the pool/gym was under renovation but we knew that prior to booking. A nice suprise was an upgrade :) Breakfast is no longer included in your stay but a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at specific times. We did not use it. Room was clean, comfortable bed, all toiletries in the bathroom (soap, mouthwash, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, make up remover wipe) Casino, patios, restaurants are within walking distance and walking along the water front is great. We would return to this hotel.

My wife and I stayed Friday March 6th for 1 night. We went to see the Redwings/Blackhawks hockey game at Little Caesars Arena. We took the tunnel bus from Windsor to Detroit. The bus terminal is directly across from the rear of the hotel.
Our room was the Panoramic River View KING. It offers an amazing view of the river and Detroit.
There was a complimentary breakfast included with a large selection of hot and cold items. The breakfast staff were very polite and attentive.
Had a problem checking in. The lady at the front desk told me I had booked 2 Queen beds through Expedia when I had booked our room directly through their website.I called the hotel 1 day prior to make sure we had the room we selected. I was assured by the gentleman on the phone that we did. After a bit of attitude from the woman, she realized she had made a mistake although she offered no apology.
No problems checking out with the same lady the next morning.
The only other issue we encountered was that we both thought the pillowcases were rough to the skin. Enough to make for an uncomfortable sleep.
Overall, we will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Room in a hotel was quite small, but with beautiful river and Detroit view. Grab and go breakfast included orange juice, apple sauce, bar and a croissant with jam. Nice lobby and hallways. Unfortunately, bathroom and room could be cleaner, we noticed some stains on pillows and hair in bathroom.

We were pleasantly surprised when walking into the hotel, smelling disinfectant. Due to the Covid isolation it was our first trip out over night. The hotel seemed a bit old but turned out to be great - bedding, service, view breakfast, etc. Would come back any time.

Spent two nights and overall I’d stay again for sure. Great location on the river, great views if you pay for panoramic view which is a deluxe room. It was clean and comfortable. Parking costs extra and is in a parking garage across the street at the back of the hotel. My room had 2 towels, 2 face cloths and all other amenities were just as scarce even though I was booked for two days. I was told to call or attend front desk but chose not to. Brown bag breakfast during COVID stay was not up to much the first day and missing a couple items on day two, I didn’t bother going to lobby for a replacement. Still worth a 4 but no 5 from me.
