The Travel Lodge by Wyndham is a great place to stay for a cozy and comfortable overnight experience. It was very quiet, and really has the best location ever, as it is close to the airport and shopping mall. Lots of restaurants close by as well. I had an extended stay, and found all of these amenities to be perfect for my needs.

Good clean room just don’t expect breakfast as they don’t put much out and it’s first come first serve. All they had left by 830 was 5 rough looking apples and cereal with no milk left. Didn’t even have a bottle of water available. Ask staff and they claimed that all they have for breakfast was out.

Clean, friendly service, and I really appreciated the late checkout. Spacious rooms, good wifi, and complementary breakfast is fine. The East Side Mario's next door is a handy dinner option, and there is also a local brewery a very short walk away.

Why they even thought that it would be a good idea to have an ice machine directly across the hall from a guest room is beyond me. It was heavily used late into the night, and then starting very early in the morning (5am) by hydro workers filling their coolers. The guest room doors are flimsy and old, providing no noise reduction. When I reported the issue at checkout, the desk person was flippant and showed very little empathy.

Room smelled like stinking wet feet, so I went and told the women at the front desk. She looked at the computer and said there wasn't another room that she could give us with two beds. I find that hard to believe since it wasn't full and it was on a Thursday night. I should have just left but we were exhausted.

The service was below par. Breakfast was cold. Room smelled like smoke. They did not provide me the room I had booked on the main floor. They painted some rooms and changed the hallway carpet over the last couple of years. Would not recommend staying here.

Dear steve_andpaul, Thank you for your feedback it is appreciated. It's disappointing for me to hear that your stay with us unsatisfactory. I will be looking into the issues that you outlined above and make sure they are addressed. We do offer a full array of breakfast items here at Travelodge Timmins, including individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, muffins, and an assortment of granola/breakfast bars. We have definitely changed our breakfast options as a result of COVID, but have been able to keep a multitude of options for our valued guests. In Feb 2020 we completed a full renovation of our property, which did extend to painting and some brand new carpeting. We also renovated all of our rooms, our lobby, as well as our three meeting rooms. If you stay here park by a camera which they only have in front. Myself and a coworker had our locked vehicles broken into and they have zero cameras in the back or sides of the buildings. They couldn’t do anything about. Sometimes the shower doesn’t work, and the wifi was down the almost whole week I was here. There was gross stuff on the wall near the wall in the washroom. The evening front desk clerk is amazing to deal with. She is probably the best thing about this place
