Need a quick place to rent a room? Not worried about peculiar stains on the carpets and walls? This is the place for you! For $70/night (or $60 if you stay on a weeknight) you can't go wrong. All they had were smoking rooms so I was even able to smoke pot in my motel room. WINNING.... Don't forget to lock your door - a lot of strange stuff goes on in that place at night.....

Just spent 3 night there this week. The room had a few stains on the carpet but was clean. Clean towels every day, bed was made and everything was cleaned. Great location with everything within walking distance, nice restraunts, subway and even Mcdonalds. Would def stay there again. No hassles in or out.

I am a truck driver and this hotel was close to a place I was making a delivery in the morning. The price was good but it definitely could use an upgrade. Absolutely not a choice for a vacation. The room looked like it was cleaned just everything was old and run down. My biggest complaint was they either had no AC or it was broke I really couldn't figure it out. The machine made noise but the knob was so worn out you couldn't see the settings and the temperature blowing out of it didn't change. For all I know I may have had the heat on. It was terribly hot and muggy in the room and you couldn't open the window or anything. My other suggestion keep your shoes on the carpet is scary.

I stayed there last night and the bathroom was dirty. The tub was dirty and had other people's hair in it, and the entire room had duck tapes all over the floor, to cover up the cracks in the floor. When I asked the owner, to clean the bathtub, he declined, to have it cleaned, telling me, that the cleaners, don't come in until 11:00 a.m. when people are checking out. For a rate of $120.00 (weekdays) and $140. per night, this place has a filthy bathroom and dirty shower, this is not worth your money. There is a single bar of (tiny) soap, and a single (tiny) shampoo and that's it, in the bathroom. No shower cap, no box of tissues, no hair dryer, and nothing, that you would get, at a regular motel, or hotel, for that price. $140.00 per night and for what?. A dirty room and a dirty shower. The bed cover, also have holes in it, from the cigarette burns, that they do not even bother to replaced. The place is the same, as from years ago, when it was even more filthy. Today, it is still not up to standards, as far as the cleanliness and the service, for that price. The owner told me, that he would give me a $10.00 discount, for the lack of a clean bathroom and dirty shower, on my next visit. Where does he come from?. I am suing him, for the lack of service and for the inconvenience, he has caused me. I am also reporting him, to the Ministry of Health, because of the standard of the room. The place is full of germs and who wants to shower in a dirty shower?. Not me. ( they have no bathtub to use, as they don't provide for use of the tub, you can only take a shower). The owner do not seem to mind, because he gets a lot of other clients, from the government, such as refugees and other clients, paid for by the government, at his motel. I paid for my room in cash and at least, deserved, to be able to take a shower, in a clean bathroom. No coffee or tea. Definitely, not worth $140.00 per night. Expect to hear children roaming around and making noises, as this place also house families, that are paid for by the government, so it is not a quiet place, to rest and sleep.
This Indian owner, of the Avenue Motel, really insulted, my intelligence, about his $10.00 discount, on my next visit. What next visit?. Stupid.

$70 for a very shabby "non-smoking room" that stank of cigarettes. Rust and mould in the bathroom, stains on the walls, crusty carpets and bedding. Retro 1970's decor. A rip off!

When the police saw me pull into this motel, they pulled in after me and demanded to see my driver's licence. They claimed that only prostitutes and drug dealers use the place. I called the Staff Sgt. Peel Regional Police on why I was stopped when I had done nothing but turn into this place. He explained that they had hundreds of arrests at the place. They have a special 4 hour rate according to what I heard with a guy ahead of me when checking in. In March/April 2015 the place was going through major renovations by new owners and the manager wanted electricians to come into my room where I was staying while I was there to cut open the ceiling and install wiring between floors WHILE I RENTED THIS MOTEL ROOM! UNBELIEVABLE. Staying at this place was ordered and paid for by my employer beforehand and "NO REFUNDS" for any reason is their ;policy on a big sign inside along with ALL PAYMENTS UP FRONT. I'm used to the motel/hotel getting my credit card imprint etc and then presenting a bill when checking out and making sure they bill the right amount and sign the bill. NOT AT THIS PLACE

I travelled to this motel with my fiancé just a couple of days ago because we were in town and I can tell you this review is not going to good. When we came in at around 3 the hotel was packed full of prostitutes and drug addicts taking advantage of the 40$ special. So there were 0 room, we left came back after an hour or so and got a room. The room itself was an awful design and decor it reminds you of that movie vacancy with all the creepiness and what not. There is mold EVERYWHERE I'm the bathroom it was disgusting, a nest of spiders over the outer sink lights and the general cobweb. Stains on the carpet were numerous and you have to mind my language here it seemed like some body had ejaculated several times on it , this was pure filth. No trash bags in the garbage and oh yeah we had a broken phone and there was no remote to be found in the room. On the way out the lady at the desk who looked like she ad been warped out of an Austin powers movie made me wait 15 min until the room was checked until we could leave.. That is something I will never do again me and my fiancé lasted from 5pm and left at 11pm we didn't even last the night. THIS HOTEL SUCKS SAVE YOUR MONEY

5 of us arrived approx. 11:30p.m. sept 24th. to attend a wedding the next day. 2 of us checked into 2 seperate rooms, (1 double) (1 with 2doubles). we proceeded to visit with my parents who were also staying there. we didn't spend 15min with them and we were told NO PARTIES which we had no intention of doing we were just trying to wind down from the 8hr trip and to get our plans together for my nieces wedding the following day. not even 10 min later we were told that we HAD TO GO TO OUR ROOMS NOW ( it was like we were childeren who were being grounded)
never the less we retreated to my room, and low and behold the police were waiting for us. they interigated us, and even knew my last name! we were all shocked at these events happening within an hours time of arriving. we spent another night with eyes always on us and then at check out time my room was the only one that was checked.
Leaving this motel i felt like a common criminal and very uncomfortable staying there.

I came to stay at this hotel for a night. The place needs a major fixing up or a bomb ! Everywhere is filthy dirty. Mold everywhere. Some of the staff are not helpful or friendly ! I was laying on the bed & started feeling things crawling on me & pricking me...some sort of parasite stays there too. Outlets are few & falling apart...everything is old ! The room I was in was half painted & primer on top. Looked very ghetto. The door to enter the room looks like it had been kicked in. I won't be back to this trashy dump. Staff get some customer service skills. Under new management, lol, then do some fixing up of the place, bug bomb the whole place & make it look presentable instead of like a dive & nasty ! Oh ya, one particular staff member told me I couldn't wait for my ride, in the lobby, any longer than 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, they said "will your ride be here soon ?" I replied, "I'm gonna call to see where they are." After realizing that my ride wasn't coming, because they had fallen asleep, the staff member asked me to wait outside in -14 degree weather & that the 20 minutes was up. RUDE !!! Good luck if u decide to stay there. You won't be happy when you leave

first of all - most hotels/motels are at least a 100.00 bucks (plus deposit) per night. My boyfriend and I paid 100.00 for both the deposit and the rate (70.00 rate- it was saturday) and 30.00 (for deposit) and all and all i have to say i had a pretty good time. The furniture in the room isnt bad, just old. The only complaints i really had were that the pillows in the bed were made for you to wake up with neck pain .Uncomfortable, and definately no neck support. I would come back here again but only with my own pillows next time!
