Our cabins overlook a picturesque lake in Sydney Forks on Cape Breton Island. While staying with us, enjoy the activities we have to offer such as kayaking, fishing and tennis. We are 10 km from Sydney and conveniently located for many attractions on our beautiful Cape Breton Island. We have ( 8) one bedroom cabins and (1) two bedroom cabin. All cabins are non smoking and either offer full kitchen or kitchenette facilities, 3 piece bath with shower, wifi, cable and if available barbeques. Rates range from $75-$130 plus tax per night. Pets are welcome and an additional $20 plus tax fee will be added. We have a 2 night minimum stay requirement for our property.
We have been staying at The Garden Court Cabins at least twice a season for five years. Love the cabins, clean but rustic overlooking a lake. The family who own and run it are typical Cape Bretoners who'd give you the shirt off their backs and joke about it. Life is quiet and laid back there. Can't wait to go back!

Sure it's simple, but very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake right outside the door. Very friendly hosts. Our cabin has two bedrooms comfortably separated by a 3pc bath. Lots of room to relax in a open comcept living space complete with small kitchen. Step out the door and enjoy the full veranda .

I have to say, when you are driving along and you are looking for this place, you can easily pass it, if you are not paying attention.
once you get here though, My god the Cabins here are nice and the scenery is beautiful, a great place to either bring the kids, or get away from the kids.
This is a very nice and affordable cabin rental place, you are a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Sydney, and the Cabins are all fully furnished.
TV, DVD player, Stove, shower, oven, BBQ, Fridge, running water you got it all here, you can make this the best vacation you can with very little effort.
I hope you enjoy the wildlife, because this place has lots of that around.
overall the cabins have VERY comfortable Beds, warm linens, very clean and well kept, and the owners are very polite and pleasant to talk to.
If I may suggest something, maybe for the next season maybe get new BBQ cleaning brushes, the one on out BBQ is just about finished and has very few bristles left on it.
I know, this has to be a good place when the only complaint I have is about the BBQ brush. XD
overall the cabins are well kept up, and you have plenty of choices for cabins to use for your stay.

This is a really lovely place to stay. As the pictures show, the view is great. The cabins are clean and big enough. It is close to a Tim’s if you just want to get coffee. It is close enough to Sydney for groceries etc. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend !
