Stayed here before and after before flying to Mexico. Park and fly available. On-site restaurant and lounge was a bonus as we got in late on both ends of the trip. Free breakfast for upper level Best Western members. Clean and spacious rooms.

We stayed here Jan. 3rd and had room 607 and it was perfect. Large Sparkling Clean room; a comfy king bed; Queen Anne chair in corner for reading; separate table with 2 chairs; great TV with huge selection of channels; a room sink with Kuerig Coffee Maker with Go Cups and bottled water which was much appreciated. Large bathroom with great shower. The airport is a 5 minute ride away and now offer an airport shuttle service. Has a restaurant inside the hotel with a great selection and a lovely buffet.

Awesome service at the Best Western. Called them after finding that my flight had been cancelled. The staff at the front desk had a shuttle pick me up in less than 10 minutes and I was able to check in 45 minutes early.
The room was very clean and attractive, and the bed was so comfortable with a good choice of pillows. I’ll definitely stay at a Best Western whenever I travel!

This hotel was because it's a Best Western. I expected more. I chose this one because of its proximity to the airport and downtown figuring it might be better equipped for travelers during Covid.
It want busy there but our floor was... Our room was exposed to the busier street meaning noisier due to street traffic. The ice machine didn't work on our floor. With minimal business over the past few months why use this floor and why hadn't it been fixed?
The topper was the lack of internet access. Two calls to the front desk and then a call from an IT person suggesting the problem was with our four different devices did not resolve the issue despite the settings telling us there was no connection. A promised call back never came. A fan blowing on their servers in the lobby may have been a clue.
Next morning's complaint to the new front desk person fell on deaf ears " I know nothing about it, I just started my shift".
A nice enough hotel otherwise. But people need internet access in hotel these days.
When I booked the room a few hours earlier while en route to Winnipeg I asked for a CAA discount which was agreed too. After leaving I noticed no discount had been applied - my bad for not checking but I was more agitated about the clerk's disinterest.

Arrived at the hotel and checked in no information was given for breakfast or any parking information. Checked into 5th floor before my trip for my park and fly and upon my return. Upon original check in the 5th floor ice machine wasn’t working. I didn’t think much of it till I realized this was the same floor I stayed at a year ago and ice machine wasn’t working. Hotel floors were dirty in hallways and elevator. Chicken bones in the elevator. When I left to go to my holiday I noted to a staff member of people not parking in there stalls and in drive lanes. They didn’t not care and did not address the situation. I did receive damage to my vehicle on the drivers door which was a direct result from the hotel not enforcing parking policies and procedures. The hotel parking lot in these pictures are on a day when there was lots of room. Weather was not an issue either with temperatures around -1 to -16. The parking lot needed to be removed as snow as well. But if the snow is cleaned as well as the hallways I don’t know. No compensation was offered or points. Talked to front desk manager Brian and was told to talk to MPS. They would no provide me with plate of vehicle that did damage. Called customer service line as well and hotel did not get a reply from general manager. Customer service rep called hotel and said there is nothing they are prepared to do. I have stayed in many hotels and I am amazed by the lack of customer satisfaction.

I’ll save the hotel the ease of replying by posting the same copy and paste statement.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool and we wanted to take our kids for a day of swimming. When we got to the pool, the water was ICE COLD! We went to the front desk to ask about it, and they said they will call maintenance. Maintenance came to talk to us and they told us that the boiler has been down for a while and they can’t heat the pool, but they told the front desk that and they have been failing to inform the guests. The pool was the main reason that we booked the hotel. So it would have been nice to know. We drove all that way, and now we were stuck in a hotel room with 2 very upset, bored kids. This definitely ruined our weekend away.

After that, we got maybe a solid 20 mins of sleep. Kids running around the halls, the elevator dinging all night, and pillows that were so hard that my face felt bruised in the morning.

I am so beyond disappointed with the hotels lack of communication and lack of informing guests of unavailable facilities, just to make more money.

We recently took a trip out of Winnipeg airport. We specifically booked this location for its vehicle parking while we were gone. We are also best western gold members. Upon arrival we were told for the month of February they did not stand by the parking on site. We spent an additional 120 dollars which is basically the price of another room.
For this price we may as well have stayed somewhere else. We complained to the manager about this and called the best western hot line and neither will give us anything back for this disaster. No offer of refund no offer of a free night, nothing. Absolutely waste of time talking to the manager or the best western hot line. We will be cancelling our best western rewards card and staying elsewhere from now on. Dont waste your time at this hotel as they are not willing to accommodate even when they are wrong. Judging by the response the front office manager gives to other reviews along with our email it's a copy and pasted "sorry, please stay here again" instead of offering a solution. We would have been satisfied with a free nights voucher for the inconvenience but he would not even do that to keep a customer happy. Unreal. Front office manager if you're just going to copy and paste a response or ask me to call you and read that response dont bother responding.

Broken and drywall powder baseboard splitting off the wall with exposed rusty nails as we walked down the hall to our room on the 6th floor.
Broken guests automatic coffee machine (no sign up saying it is out of order )- front staff just watched me try to use it, waited till it came out pee coloured, then told me "yeah, it's not working right now".
Dried blood stains on my pillow case.
A used bloody bandage outside our door. Reported it three times to the front desk and waited 8 hours till someone finally came to remove it.
This location needs immediate corporate intervention to meet their typical standard for their hotel class before anyone should consider staying here, if staying in a place that doesn't have biohazards or physical hazards is your minimum expectation.

This hotel is very run down. The rooms are damp, smell like mildew/laundry that sat in the washer, and the carpet leaves your feet black. Our friends had nails sticking out of the carpet in their room. Others changed rooms immediately due to it smelling like urine. The power went out twice during our stay, and a friend got trapped in the elevator and was understandably terrified. The coffee machine in the lobby got marked out of order the first day, and when we asked for coffee from the restaurant, they wanted us to pay $3 or use a breakfast voucher. The workout room is tiny, with only one functioning treadmill. Running or walking outside is not an option, due to the hotel's location. The only good things were that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant's food was very good.

We recently had our son's wedding at Best Western Plus. It was extremely hot that day and the air conditioning in the hotel was practically non existent. The air conditioning in the rooms worked but filters were Grey with dust. In our room our window was sealed with tape My son and daughter in law were give a free room with their wedding package. They had to wait until the start of their reception to check in because the room was cleaned and when they did finally check there was clothes left in it. They went to use the jacuzzi and it didn't work. They called matainence to fix it. He got it working but the water was only warm. When they turned the Jets on the water went brown from the filthy Jets. At their reception the vegetables weren't the same as at their tasting. They almost lost the blown glass cake top and made a mess of cutting the cake. When we went to them they denied everything and offered them no compensation except another free night and $75 food voucher in that hotel. I called the hotel manager I have had no response. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because once they have their money they don't care
