We last stayed at this hotel two years ago. Pretty good deal then but moreso now. Upon checking in we noticed that the hotel is in the midst of being renovated. We thought there might be a noise issue but that wasn't the case. We got to stay in a newly renovated room on the third floor. Very refreshed look! Also, the continental breakfast was better than it used to be. They had servings of western omelettes, sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, cereals, fruits and fresh variety of juices and tropical smoothies. The plastic cups appear to be compostable as, I would say, the cutlery is also. Positive steps in the right direction! We will be back.

Stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!
My room was basically looked brand new and had a king size bed which was so comfortable.
Slept like a rock. Special acknowledgement to Gina who had the breakfast area -extremely well organized, super super clean and very accommodating !!
I also used the gym at this property and was impressed with the equipment that was there for me to use, including free weights dumbbells up to 50 lbs.
Excellent property and I would highly recommend!!

Our stay was Sept.19 to 20th after a bad experience at another hotel in the area. Check in was easy and quick. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Stayed in King Suite and it was perfect .. very clean and comfy. Breakfast was very good and everyone followed protocol.
My only suggestion which I did tell the front desk clerk when I left was that I think that the guests should be told to leave their breakfast trays on the table they sat at that way the staff
will know who was sitting where and can clean tables as required. I say this because a gentleman was sitting at a table enjoying his breakfast and then he got up and left and another gentleman came in and got his breakfast and sat at the exact same table without anybody cleaning it in between. All in all it was a great stay and will definitely stay here when in Kamloops.

Stayed there as central hub for golf trip, all staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Social distancing clearly marked and adhered to, making it feel safe from Covid. Pool and hot tub was available on a reservation basis, limited to 'bubble' groups. Complimentary breakfast was provided and the staff, having to serve the food was very accommodating and friendly in spite of this practice certainly not being their primary duty.

We stayed here en route to Calgary. It was a very nice, clean, quiet hotel. The only small noise I heard was from the road, as we were facing the parking lot, and because there are a bunch of hotels in the area, was some traffic noise, but we turned on the A/C and then couldn't hear anything. Was amazed at how well the rooms shielded the noise from one another, considering i could hear people in the halls, but couldn't hear them once I got in the room (and they were next door).
The beds were extremely comfortable, with very nice linens, the kind you expect from a high end hotel. The bathroom was nice, would have liked a bathtub (for small child), but shower was good.
The breakfast which is included was average. During COVID you lined up, and they had staff get you what you requested. It was a standard continental breakfast, with basic eggs, bagels, waffles, muffins, fruit and yogurt.
The price is good for what you get, I would say it is a good value. We used air miles, but i did check the rate, and it was decent.
Staff at front desk were very friendly.
I appreciated the updated decor in the rooms, and there was plenty of parking for cars.
It was fairly busy hotel when we were there, and i only ever saw one person working front desk, but that may be due to covid regulations.
All in all a comfy stay, and we had a great sleep.

Conveniently located in the Sahali area, with the immediate area consisting of a good cluster of solid options such as Fairfield, Four Points, HIE, Wingate, Coast, and Ascend Hotel as well dining and shopping options close by. This cluster is located right off exit 368 of the Trans Canada hwy. Front desk staff are friendly and competent.
Hotel swimming pool can be booked by appt basis, however unfortunately we did not partake.
The hotel itself is older, but in overall good shape. Hotel is clean and well managed, while guest rooms and hallways have been recently renovated to a nice modern look. Rooms are good size and comfortable with comfy beds. Breakfast service was busy and featured a variety of hot food options on the menu, which is served by hotel staff (in mask and gloves) in a friendly and professional manner.
Considering how busy it was, the staff was prompt and efficient. Made breakfast more enjoyable than expected (due to Covid worries on our part).
Really glad this hotel didn't simply resort to paper bag grab and go option!

Only Pro was the pool. Booked for private 30 minute timeslots.
However, there was no sanitizing between parties, as the front desk had said.
Booked 1 night for an anniversary getaway in a 2 queen mini suite using a free rewards night. Upon check in I was advised that room type wasn't available but will be given two 2 queen rooms instead. Since we were traveling with our young child, 2 separate rooms with NO adjoining door would not work. So I was given a room at the back of the building (facing the hill) which they said was a 2 queen mini suite. The room looked like a standard 2 queen room with a sofa bed. Not impressed.
Kept getting different excuses of why we didnt get the room as reserved. But now I'm assuming its since I used a free reward and was not a "paying" customer.
A complimentary bottle of wine was in the room for us but that doesn't make up for the room error.
Breakfast was the usual waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, etc. Order was taken at a counter and put on a tray by an employee. The poor woman was run off of her feet! I mentioned to her that she needs a tip jar. She said people usually leave money on the table. But what about the people that take their breakfast to their room?? Management needs to look at this! She needs weekend help!
We were going to stay for 1 more night but decided on a different property, as we didnt want to give our money to Hampton Inn Kamloops.

Arrived and stayed 3 days, I was able to check in early and the ladies at the front desk as well as house keepers were so courteous. Breakfast was great, and the beds were so comfortable. I could have stayed longer! Hot tub is actually hot with strong jets, and the room was comfortable and warm when I arrived. Highly recommend, as you are on the hill above town and have a wonderful view of the river.

Booked this hotel as a stop over on a long road trip. Hotel doors were full of stickers that were partially removed and the ones that didn’t have them had the paint removed where the stickers used to be.
The room smelled like body odour. Thank God my wife brought an oil defuser to get rid of the smell so we could sleep properly.
The washrooms were decent, except for the exhaust fan which was falling from the ceiling.
Was really disappointed and we cancelled our pre booked stop over on the way back.
On another note, Hilton advertises that they will match a lower price advertised on another hotel site like Expedia. We found a cheaper rate when we were booking and sent in the claim. They promise a 48 hour response and didn’t hear from them until 4 days later. They denied my claim so I submitted screen shots of the lower price. But they then waited another 4 days to respond and denied my claim on a technicality that my stay was already completed hence they couldn’t approve it. Very sketchy on Hiltons part and I feel they’ll use any excuse they can in order to avoid making good on their so called price guarantee.
