I stayed there for two nights because of the low price in December between Christmas and New Year. And it was then that I found out that that location in Edmonton is actually the HOOD of the city. So if you don't mind that, then go ahead. Price is good for sure.
Across the street is a lot of amenities: Walmart, No Frills, Boston Pizza...and located right inside this Travelodge is a Chinese buffet restaurant.
The room is clean and renovated. WiFi is strong. Lots of free parking. There's even a church that rents a room in the basement for sunday worship.
Breakfast is very simple. There's frozen waffles with a self serve toaster. Fruits, muffins and cereal. Nothing special.
The staff are friendly.

the pop machine ate my money, they over charged me about $30 and they need a elevator. the breakfast is small and the rooms need a bigger fridge and a less used futon. the blankets are also very thin,

Each and every time I stay at the lodge, its clean, great service, staff is always friendly, and sleep like a baby . Room was clean, but maybe a couple more pillows. Breakfast could use a couple more items, but what they do provide is always fresh and coffee is hot

We decided to stay in Edmonton for a night because we were tired and didn’t want to make the 5 hour drive to Fort Mac. Our room was disgusting. First thing I did when I got to our room was take my shoes off and use the washroom. I should have left my shoes on. The floor was greasy and slimy, it was so gross! At that moment, I knew I would not be using the shower. Here is everything that followed: the curtains would not close all the way, so street lights were visible all night. The remote for the TV was sticky (yuck!!!), the futon stunk, the top blanket on the bed smelled like it had never been washed, the blanket under that had cigarette burn holes in it and there was makeup on the pillow. I’ve reached out to their head office with no response. We will never be staying with any Wyndham hotel ever again. We woke up at 7am just so we could get the hell out of there. It was disgusting.

When we pulled up the this hotel there were people outside the bar very sketchy ! But decided to go in an check in we were taking in a concert so needed a place so on arrival Into rooms it was old and my friends room had a smell but we tried to stay positive, we headed out to concert on arrival back that night there were rcmp outside and a man had been pepper sprayed outside of the lobby doors we were told to use side door to get in. The smell of pepper spray was aweful but made it to our rooms. We all went to sleep and were all awoke to a terrible sounding meth psychotic episode male hollering and banging in hallway. Took rcmp 20 min to get there. We were all scared for our lives and hotel staff really did nothing to ask if we needed anything only asked we stay in our rooms . When we left in am we went to Front desk ! She was terrible to us said it was an isolated event! He was intoxicated ! No he wasn’t he was a street person on a meth induced psychosis ! She said only thing we could do was to call management ! Never again will we dampen that door ! People stay away

The staff was really nice, but the room was so tiny, my boyfriend and I could hardly turn around, the website says there is a microwave, but it’s communal, the bed was so hard, we felt like we were sleeping on a plywood board, the second light switch is not for a light but the a/c, and the walls were so paper thin, you could hear everything and the hall light was beaming into our room. Didn’t even want to see what the pool looked like. We also heard 2 gunshots very close to the hotel. Did not feel safe.. Do not recommend.

The staff were very accommodating, rooms were very clean. Great value for the cost. Every staff member we dealt with, from counter staff to custodial staff were amazingly great to deal with. Bed was very comfy, as well as the whole place was very clean

Was pleased overall with all the services for the price. Place was being cleaned the whole time i was there. One issue i had is it is advertised pet friendly. It should say DOG friendly. i have a cat, booked the place and then was told only DOGS small and large for a extra fee. Had to get someone to take my cat for me while i had this stay booked.

Price is reasonable. The room keeps a bit warm for my liking, despite thermostat being turned way down.
The place is a little off the beaten path, and could use some proper maintenance. The couch in our room had a broken back support. The flooring was improperly installed, and can pinch bare feet is your not careful.
Staff was friendly, and the facilities appear clean and tidy.
