Stay here was amazing! Shuttle bus provided to and fro from YYC airport. Our driver's name was Bobby and he was very helpful and friendly! Hotel stay included a buffet breakfast with quite a wide spread. Also one thing that really impressed me was that there had free sanitary pads / tampons in the ladies washroom. Extremely good service and clean rooms throughout our stay!

Clean, quiet, convenient location for air travel. Staff was friendly. Nice lounge/eating area although restaurant was on the pricey side, (maybe not for Calgary). The shuttle to and from the airport was clean and both drivers were pleasant without being overly enthusiastic for an early morning departure. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn a few times and I am never disappointed. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The free breakfast is of excellent value for a quick meal to start the day. Fitness center and pool are also great to unwind after a long day. The service staff are excellent. This is a great location by the airport and perfect if working on the north side of the city.

Our room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was quite delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is easy to access off the highway. I really appreciated the readily available Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer in the common areas.

Best hotel staff I have experienced in my travels. They aim to please, and are very quick to respond to any requests I have had. This hotel is up to date, clean, close to the airport, and reasonably priced. The staff at this location go above and beyond, one morning during my stay this January one of the other guests car would not start because it was so cold. The front desk staff went out and pushed the car while the guest tried to jump start it.

I was visiting Calgary with family and stayed in this hotel for 2 days 14th and 15th August. Everything was ok ( not great) except washrooms door was sliding and there is no lock for that and when I told reception about it they send me a door stopper. I was staying with my 2 young kids and without door locked it was not comfortable at all Breakfast was included in the price but we got one apple, one very small muffin and one juice. We can understand that because of Covid 19 you can’t provide proper breakfast but you should mention that when we are booking the hotel.

It was a last minute decision to stay here. Our flight was to depart just after midnight so I was thinking we would just check out from our previous hotel and do things around the city, but since it was a Sunday most places closed early plus the weather was gloomy and there weren't many things to do to kill 8 hours. My boys definitely didn't want to spend 8 hours shopping!
I figured the price was worth it since we could relax before our flight and have somewhere to leave our bags when we did go out. Airport lounges are also closed right now so this was the next best option.
Service was very friendly. I called the hotel in advance asking for an early check in and they happily obliged. Right now check in seems to be at the Homewood next door. I'm assuming since this is because occupancy is low, but they share a parking lot and indoor access so it wasn't an issue.
The room was spotless and quite spacious. It was also very quiet considering it was right near the airport. We could see some planes coming and going but no noise at all.
Since we didn't stay the whole night I can't comment on the breakfast, but the beds were comfortable (we napped before our flight) and the bathroom was very spacious and clean.
Sunridge is only about 10-15 minutes away and there are quite a few shops and restaurants around there or you could drive about 10 minutes north to Crossiron mills for your shopping fix. We enjoyed our dinner at Pio Peruvian and would recommend it in an instant. There's also a Tim Horton's just across the street from the hotel for a quick bite.
We also got to watch game 7 of the Dodgers and Braves game, so like my kids said, it was totally worth the price we paid! lol
Overall, a pleasant (short) stay. I felt like a valued guest, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again when in the area.
The only recommendation I have (and it's not just for this Hampton but all Hampton Inns and Hilton Garden Inn properties) is to find an alternative to Neutrogena. I think these are the worst toiletry products ever. Even the Best Western I stayed at this trip had better personal care products. ;)

This Hampton Inn is a short distance from the Calgary Airport. We spent 2 nights there after a nearly 2-week stay in Canada. Rooms are clean and pleasant; the hotel is quiet and populated mostly by business types. Our only beef was that the heating/AC system was pretty noisy and cycled on and off, making it a bit tough to get to sleep. The front desk did send a guy up to try to help us set the unit, but he pretty much reiterated what we already had learned through trial and error.
We ate dinner the first night at the hotel's bar/restaurant, which also doubles as their breakfast area. The veggie quesadillas were quite good (we're from San Diego and picky about Mexican food) and the local craft beer was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was perfectly OK, plenty of items to choose from and a little different every day.
The hotel's proximity to the airport is handy if you have some free time and want to see Calgary, which has a number of interesting attractions. The 300 bus route runs express from the airport to downtown Calgary and takes about 20-30 min. The hotel shuttle runs to the airport every 20 min., 24 hours a day, and drops you off near the stop for the 300 bus. At the end of our day in Calgary, we took the 300 back to the airport and grabbed the Hampton shuttle back to the hotel. All in all, a very good place to stay near the airport.

The room only had 1 towel so I called the front desk to get more. I ended up calling down 3 times and he kept saying he called house keeping and they would be right up. I ended up having to come down to the front desk. He said he has been soo busy when when I came down no guest were around and he was talking to the waiter from the restaurant.
The hotel also didn’t have hot water or something is wrong with their hot water tank. I had to put the shower on full hot. After 10 min of full hot I had cool water. I told the front desk and nothing was done

Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent stay with us! I am truly sorry to hear that your experience with us was not an enjoyable one. We will be following up with the reason why only one towel was placed in your room and what happened at the front desk which resulted in you having to come down and collect your own towel. Our Chief Engineer is currently looking into why some rooms are taking longer to get hot water when everything looks to be working with the hot water tank. As the hotel gets busier this should no longer be a problem but will ensure this is followed up on. I hope that if your travels bring you back to Calgary that you will give us another chance to prove you that your previous experience was just an exception.
