From the moment we walked in to the hotel, we noticed that they took Covid safety very seriously, and we really appreciated it because we’re doing a cross-country move from LA to Chicago.
We appreciated that the ceiling fan was on and balcony door open for ventilation before we walked in to our room, and that a card listed every item that they disinfected.
We got all toiletries and dishwashing supplies sealed in bags with a “clean” label on them, and also brand new rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, box of Cleenex, and toilet brush. We also appreciated that only one family at a time could use the elevators, and the fire pits and pool (reservations made at the front desks.) The luggage carts were marked as clean or dirty, standing in clearly designated spots.
The room itself was wonderful. Modern style, but really nice decor with versatile lighting options. The mountain view from our balcony (equipped with a grill) was stunning. The kitchen was great (had freezer, fridge, dish washer, and staff can provide a hot plate too). The living room had a fireplace. The bedroom was really nice. Only the pillows were a bit big for our taste. There was also a washer, dryer and vacuum cleaner in the room. The price for the room was great given that the location is very close to Vale.
We picked up great Italian food at the nearby restaurant. We gladly would’ve stayed there longer if we could.

We only stayed one night but liked the room we were assigned to which included a full kitchen , washer/dryer and separate bed room and a full bathroom with spa and a small balcony. The underground garage parking was free and was equipped with luggage racks facilitating easy transport of our bags to the elevator and to our room. Breakfast was not included but the staff was helpful in suggesting places nearby to get a reasonably priced meal. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The staff is always friendly and we were impressed with how clean the rooms were. From the moment you enter the room, you can tell they are working hard to prevent the spread of Covid. From sanitized TV remotes, shampoo and soaps were in one individual bag and they even leave a pack of alcohol wipes for guests in the room. Only one person or family in elevators. We felt safe and enjoyed our second time here. We will go back!

The hotel was centrally located in Avon and was chosen to use Marriott points and proximity to Vail. The unit was small but suitable for two people. The room was located on the same floor at the entertainment areas for children so there was some noise but nothing that disturbed sleep. The small gas fireplace, washer and dryer are an added bonus.

The hotel space is very nice. However, the gym is on the 7th floor and those unfortunate rooms on the 6th floor get woken up at 5:30 from the sound of weights being constantly dropped.
Our window does not close completely, so the two fireplaces came in handy on these cold mornings.
The bathroom is a good size and the shower has two shower heads with plenty of pressure.

Condo was functional and personnel were nice...but this faciity is poorly managed.
Our misadventures began when my daughter, three grandchildren and myself arrived at 8pm after a 14 hour drive. The front desk informed us our Bonvoy points were not good for the stay and they would not help us resolve the misunderstanding. After an hour of arguing with them and Marriott we finally got it straitened out. The next big issue was in the morning my ski locker key did not match the dead bolt lock and we could not get our skies out of the locker. They did not have a master key and it appeared we would not be able to access our skies until they finally located a bolt cutter. Management did acknowledge its culpability concerning both issues.
Miscellaneous issues included there was no information available about Vail or Beaver Creek concerning ski trail maps and snow conditions. I noted there was no front desk coverage at 9am nor at 8:30pm, both times when I needed assistance. Upon departure, I asked the front desk for a broom to clean the snow fall off of my car and was in turn asked what a broom was and was then told they did not have brooms....amazing!!!
Monday morning free continental breakfast was extremely sparse and the steam and dry sauna facilities barely function.

The original reservation booked was not for a points stay through Marriott, rather a cash one. We did a great deal during that hour to change the reservation over to a points stay - which is not a procedure we usually follow and made a special exception since you all had traveled so far. The total resolution actually took several days of our staff's time to iron out for you. I'm sorry that our effort did not meet your expectations. We did try to apologize for the other issues you encountered during your stay and resolves them as quickly as possible but I am sorry about the locker issue and the timing of the concierge team's schedules. Travelling with my young daughter and wife, as well as another couple when we stayed at this hotel in early September 2021 for three nights. The weather ended up being perfect, so the lack of AC did not both us (though it did catch us off-guard). Great front desk staff, very accommodating and friendly and the hotel is located in a good spot with easy parking, and proximity to stores (including a grocery store), restaurants and a park that our daughter loved to play on. The common areas and amenities offered at the hotel were nice and the rooms were reasonably spacious with most of the appliances/conveniences you would want in the compact kitchen. For the money, it was a great value.
While we generally enjoyed our stay, there were things which contributed negatively to our experience and most could be relatively easily improved upon. The TVs in both of the rooms we had lacked any wifi/smart TV capabilities (this was the first time in probably 7 years I have had a scrolling TV guide with no wifi built into the TV), they did not offer housekeeping during the stay, the beds were rather firm and not so comfortable, the dishes were dirty when we checked in and had to be recleaned (luckily there was dishwasher, so not that much work for us), and they did not offer benefits for Marriott Platinum/Titanium Elite members. As it stands, there is no reason to choose a Sheraton/Marriott vacation club property overy any other property, nor is there incentive to book directly rather than through a third party given the lack of benefits for elite members. One other drawback was the location itself, which is generally great, however it is near a busy highway so for most of the day/night you would hear cars driving by if you kept your windows open (which is almost required when staying here outside of the winter due to the lack of AC).

What a perfect situation for a traveling family! From the moment we walked in our villa it was clear those who staff and run this hotel are exceptional. Our villa was SPARKLING clean. That’s not always easy with washer and dryer, kitchen amenities, etc. I felt as if every covid precaution was taken. The location is outstanding, easy to walk to the lake, huge playground, restaurants and coffee. Pool was also regulated and kept sanitized after each guests use. Parking was super easy and even luggage carts were organized and frequently cleaned. There is no AC but plenty of fans and although it was warm mid day, the night was cool and comfortable.
I highly recommend this resort.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2021 (off season, no skiing, summer activties in the area not yet up and running).
Our one bedroom unit was spacius and well laid out and impeccably clean on arrival. The kitchen was really nicely equipped, even having very good and sharp Henkel knives.
The internet was easy to get on and fast: my husband was working online and had no issues as he ran meetigs, etc.
The underground parking garage was great to have.
The location is ideal, right in town with several places to eat, a grocery store, post office and shops all within an easy walking distance. There is also a little riverside trail nearby and a large park with a lake.
Staff were always friendly and available.. We were offered our loyalty gift right off too.
It was still cold out in early May and the pool was heated to a comfortable temperature for use. Thie fire pit was also really plesant.
We would happily stay here again if in the area.

I was very disappointed in managements' problem solving skills. Have you ever been right next to a bonfire? Well, you can get this experience here. Every room is a smoking room if your neighbor is bbqing on their balcony. Although signs in your room will advise you to open your windows at night for "natural air conditioning" to cool the room,,
you get this barage of bbq smoke for hours from your neighbor's grilling. Unfortunately for us this was from 9pm-1130pm puls another 2 hours for the smoke to clear the balconies. That's 4 hours of a hot, smoky room. When we shut the windows it trapped the smoke. Then the room reached 85 degrees, less than ideal sleeping temp. Upon calling the desk that night, was told nothing they could do, tilt your fan to blos smoke outward (which of course we had already tried). Daytime Management solutions were "move you to another room with same situation, spot clean your room, let you borrow an ionizer for an hour". There were other properties with vacancies that they owned in town but that option was ignored. Problem not solved. Awful experience for such a nice building. All grills need ventilation system or a rule no BBQing after dark when the windows are all open. If you are Vegan, skip this hotel entirely.

Hi Iam not sure. Would suggest giving them a call,, they are always very helpful. We only go in the early fall. But, you will enjoy the place. they also have fires places in the rooms.
We are a 15 minute shuttle ride to Beaver Creek.
In the summer the apartment side and highway side is very noisy because you have to leave patio door open to survive since there is no air conditioning. Only side quite is pool side top floors which are not available to paying guest only Vacation Club members. In other words if your a paying guest in summer it will be noisy and hot.
