This is now our 3rd year in a row and there´s nowhere else we will go. When it comes to Quality, Luxury, Service, Food, Faciltities, Location and Security there is no better. This time we came with 8 more people from Toronto, so 10 of us in all.

Ocean View Room: Very large nice balconly, excellent water pressure, comfortable bed, great houskeeping, large Samsung TV, all channels inlcuding FOX and CNN.

Restaurants: Chula Vista great breakfast, so much selection and great service from the waiter "David"

Lunch: "The Beach Club Restaurant". Amazing menu, the Best Shrimp on the Planet and great service from Waiters " Isabel" "Marco" and "Angel" and a very professional hands on Manager of the Beach Club "Roberto"

Dinner: Tavola Restaurant, very High End, White Table Cloth Service, incredible menu, qaulity and service, 5***** dinning and you must have a reservation and most nights, they also have two very talanted musicians, singing and playing beautiful renditions of music, during the Dinner Hour. "Andres" the Manager is Great.

Dinner: Pitiona De Mar: A brand new addtion to the Princess, a very High End Restaurant which features cusine with a Mexican Flair, once again 5 ***** dining. The Food was "Out of this World"! The Best fish we have ever ate in our lives, great service by the Staff, we gave out compliments to the Chef. The Restaurant is Managed by "Roberto" the same person who manages the Beach Club and once again, he is very hands on and professional. You must have Reservations as well

Beach and Location: In Diamante, only 15 minutes from the Airport, a very nice, clean beach, with sparkling Ocean Water, just be careful of the Waves.

Golf: Amazing Turtle Dunes Gold Course right at the Princess, beautiful Two 18 Hole Championship Professional Courses on your doorstep.
Pools: 5 Very Large "Clean" Pools. 2 of them "Salt Water" and amazing waterfalls.

Conclusion: We will be back again next year and to anyone else, you cannot go wrong with the Princess Mundo in Acapulco, it is worth every penny and then some

Management: Please give out compliments to "Roberto" the Manager of the Beach Club and Pitiona De Mar, to "Suzanna" Manager at the Front Desk, to the Waiter "David" Chula Vista, "Isabel", "Marco" and "Angel" from the Beach Club and "Andres" the Manager of Tavola. We have been going to Acapuclo for 20 years and are so glad we found the Princess 3 years ago, Thank you for providing great service and see soon......

Beautiful place, great beach and pools, excellent food. Rooms need refurbishment, especially bathrooms. Hotel management should prevent guests from occupying sunchairs at the pool with towels all day long. Really annoying situation. Either take a reservation fee or remove the towels when no one is using the chair.

We are back from 3 weeks at the Princess Mundo Imperial and we are extremely pleased with our experience at this property! The location/grounds are enchanting, and the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds.

The food was exquisite; you basically have access to 3 hotels when it comes to restaurants, pools, etc. The shuttle bus service was impeccable, and we felt safe at all times on the premises.

The hotel staff is so nice and attentive to your needs, especially Susana Lorenzo, the reception manager.

We will be going back for an additional 3 weeks in March 2020, and will most likely adopt this hotel/destination for the years to come!

Thanks again to the Princess Mundo Imperial team for such a great client service experience!

My husband and I have just returned from the most wonderful week staying at the Princess Mundo Imperial hotel and what a fabulous time we had.

The hotel staff are so friendly. The food is out of this world. The hotel is a very pleasant place to hang out in.

We stayed in the older pyramid building and although the room hadn't yet been updated, it was very spacious, clean and tidy. We had the most incredible ocean view!! Our maid always did something nice for us each day, whether it be folding the face towels in different ways each day, or making the bed with flair, these were thoughtful touches. There is an envelope in the room for you to tip the maid each day.

The food at Chula Vista and the Beach Club, well what can I say, all of it was absolutely delicious! The servers are sweet and will cater to your every whim in a happy and polite manner.

The main pool was where we hung out most days and the drinks servers are very attentive and happy to chat to you if you wish.

For drinkers, the bars have a great choice of drinks. For smokers there are tall stone ashtrays everywhere around this hotel. There are no doors on the hotel so there's a lovely breeze which wafts through it all the time. People do smoke pretty much everywhere (except in the restaurants) but with all the fresh air around you don't even notice.

The Sunwing rep we had was such a funny and friendly guy. He gave us all good information and made us feel at home straight away.

The staff are very welcoming and professional in a laid back fashion and they really made us feel comfortable at this hotel.

We will be back!

Feb. 12 2020. Just came back from a week stay at the Mundo princess. The place is clean, rooms big with comfy beds and pillows, stayed in the pyramid on the seveth floor. The food is pretty good especially at the restaurant by the pool. We went all inclusive with Sunwing from Toronto. This is not a all inclusive resort. At the restaurants you are give a menu with prices for the cash paying costumers, some items on the menu you are reqired to pay for (even all inclusive). You have to sign for everything, food and drinks. The bar is open until 1 AM but you have to pay after 11. Service around the pool was terrible, it was as if the all inclusive people were ignored (even after tipping) and the paying customers got food and drinks delivered. Would I go back ? NO, but the WIFI worked great, to bad the service sucked.

Starting with the people in reception, restaurants and other areas, they are very friendly for the most part.
Now, regarding the place, the location and view in the rooms are very good, however, the rooms are not quiet, they need maintenance and the mattress is not very comfortable.
Something that I did not like is that now they charge you $500 pesos to occupy the chairs on the beach and although they deduct them from the consumption account, I think they should not make any charge for this, in addition to that now there are chairs that the locals put in front of the ones from hotel, blocking the ocean view.
There are better options for less money.

Hotel honored their 40% max. capacity to protect their guests from COVID infection. This is was the biggest pro for us. We felt safe and at ease. Thank you!

Location: Beach bungalows with beach chairs offer healthy distance and privacy from other guests. A major priority for us, when traveling and staying at a hotel (vs. AirBnB) during COVID. The beach is clean. Only issue: every 10 minutes someone comes by offering local goods or massages. The hotel could make a better effort to avoid this.

Service: Fantastic.

Food: Good for an all-inclusive. The panna cotta at the Italian restaurant is delicious. There’s a Starbucks on-site, which is a great perk.

Rooms: Spacious, clean and staff thoroughly focused on disinfecting everything.

Lola: You cannot miss this beautiful, funny and unique guacamaya (parrot). She speaks fluent Spanish and English (says “hola”
And “hello) and waves at you. She was the highlight of our trip and we can’t wait to come back and see her again.

The property is beautiful and you get access to premium food and alcohol. You're close to the airport. You can eat at multiple different restaurants. The staff go above and beyond to serve you.

Roberto worked hard at the beach club restaurant. Isabel was very pleasant every single day at the beach club. Rolando was a gem working the lobby bar.

To get your money's worth it, I would sit by the pool and order food and drinks. They serve you wherever you are. The a la cartes are very delicious. I would go for fish tacos at the beach club. You also can take a shuttle between the resorts and go for dinner at the other resorts. You get your money's worth when it comes to food.

We booked this trip through Sunwing and were hesitant after reading some of the bad reviews. I can see why some people didn't like this resort, but we loved it.

You have to accept a few things with the all-inclusive package. You have to sign off for everything that you order. You have to reserve palapas by the beach. You also get cut off at 11pm. I would still give this 5 stars with all of that being said.

Our overall note for Princess Mundo Imperial is 9.5/10. There are however two things the hotel should do something about The first one: is the lack of a beach view from the palapas reserved for Sunwing. From that place you can’t even see the Ocean due to the 6-7 lines of palapas who are installed facing the sea shore, stuck together, sheltering several hundreds of people. The only alternative was to search elsewhere a possibility to be closer to the Ocean. We found that at Pierre Hotel, at about 10 minutes of walk on the beach.
The second strange situation was happening on December 31, when at 10 PM the lobby bar was closed, on New Year’s Eve! They allowed us only to sit on the terrace and have a drink….found elsewhere. No show, dance, entertainment or something was organised on New Year’s Eve! Once again, people had to search elsewhere at a neighbour hotel to have entertainment.
The Princess Mundo Imperial is an excellent hotel, offering excellent services, enough restaurants with very tasty food, clean rooms, an amazing Ocean and pool view from the balconies, a lot of palm trees, excellent services even on the pool side where you can eat and drink whatever you want.
We must also mention the professionalism of the hotel stuff, including the reception, room services and the technical personnel! Conclusion: Excellent place who needs only a little more attention to give to their clients the possibility to stay close to the water and enjoy the beauty of the Ocean.

Hi NO. We are here right now at the Princess. The Jr. Suites have a fridge. Mind you there are very convenient, well functioning ICE machines on each floor. The standard rooms are also much larger than most standard hotel rooms.

Answer from Heatison

NO, Acapulco has banned most public smoking. None if the indoor or outdoor restaurants allow it. Mind you I saw a few people periodically smoking in the Lobby (its massive) but saw no enforcement.
