My husband and I just finished our first visit to Providenciales (Provo) in the Turks and Caicos and it was fabulous. Harbour Club Villas is a beautiful little resort that is lovingly cared for by the owners, Marta, Barry, and son Michael. Each villa has it’s own outside patio. Inside is a large and inviting living, eating, and kitchen area overlooking Flamingo Lake. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed and is the only room with an air conditioner. We did not need air in any other room thanks to the multiple windows and cross breezes. The villa also has beach chairs and towels, and a cooler for our use. We definitely enjoyed sitting by the pool after our daily excursions. There was internet access throughout the property. The photos on this site are representative of the property but don’t convey the actual warmth and beauty. Although there was only one restaurant within walking distance, Bob’s Bar, the food was so good we ate there 4 nights. Chef Francois was a delight as were the patrons we met. Wednesday night there was a local band that packed the house. Almost everything you would want to do on Provo is within 15 minutes of Harbour Club by car. The beaches and ocean bays are gorgeous with fine sand and crystal clear water. Snorkeling is fun and easy to do since you can access several reefs right from the beach or you can book a boat trip from numerous companies. Communication with Marta began at the time we booked and continued up to and after our arrival. She provided us with the name of the car rental company we ultimately used and she and Michael gave us helpful hints for beaches to visit, things to do, and how to drive on the wrong side of the road! Driving was the only stress provoking activity on the Island since we don’t consider trying to select a restaurant for dinner from the dozens of possibilities stressful. LOL. Marta and Michael are always around to answer questions, make suggestions, and ensure you have a good time. We would absolutely recommend staying at Harbour Club Villas if you are looking for a unique, beautiful, and quiet retreat. We are definitely planning on returning!

Managing to find a few days to visit Providenciales my wife and I were lucky to discover Harbour Club, we’re not much into the big hotel scene and this provided exactly what we were looking for. Our villa, one of six was very comfortably furnished with a generously sized bedroom, bathroom and large living room area containing a full kitchen. Being a family run operation it provides for a much more personal experience than any resort can give, Marta, Barry and Mike seemed to be always around, quite happy to give advice and information about their lovely island or indeed just for a good chat. Next door is Bob’s Bar which is highly recommended for both food or if you’re just looking for a great watering hole with relaxed ambiance. There seemed to be a number of locals there which is always a good sign, they’ll always tend to gravitate to the best places! There are kayaks available and some nearby places to go and explore, a great way to get to some of the out of the way places. A rental car is recommended to get around and we used Quality Car Rental, they initially didn’t have the car I had requested but upgraded me to a more expensive option at no cost, unfortunately as I planned to drive to the west part of the island where some of the roads are rough this option wasn’t going to work for me as the ground clearance wasn't sufficient, after explaining the situation they went to great effort to replace it with the original requested vehicle later on the day that we arrived, driving out to Harbour Club for the exchange. I was impressed with this, mistakes happen, they worked it out, I will no doubt rent from them again on our next visit. All in all Harbour Club is well recommended for those not cut out for the mega resort, we’ll definitely be visiting them again and I look forward to it.

This set of 6 villas was the perfect place for my friends and I . We were so comfortable here , travelling during a global pandemic can be stressful , we were looking for a spot where we could prepare most of own meals and not have to be in crowded areas or reports and this place was perfect . The villas are so comfortable and well equipped , beautifully decorated and very clean. The outside area has a small pool and comfortable loungers as well as a bbq in a covered area for cooking out. We were diving so this location was perfect as we only had to walk down the hill to get to the Marina were we would catch the dive boat operated by Aqua TCI ( a very good outfit to dive with) . Marta our host was exceptionally attentive to our needs and had some great suggestions for eating out and grocery shopping . We loved our vacation in TCI .

We loved staying at the Harbor Club Villas. We felt very spoiled with fresh flowers in our room everyday. Marta, Michael and Barry were so welcoming and helpful. The location is dreamy - beautiful views, so quiet and peaceful but close to a big grocery store and just a few minutes from restaurants, etc. There is a beautiful, EMPTY, white sand beach minutes away. AND if you're diving with Aqua TCI, with their 7:30 am start time, you'll love the 2 minute walk to their boats. The villa was huge and well equipped. The pool and grill area are lovely. Wish we could have stayed much, much longer.

My husband and I had a wonderful babymoon at Martha's place. She was responsive from the first booking and reserved us a rental car, including airport pick up. The place is spotless, screened-in with ocean breezes, quiet, and next to a small harbor and a restaurant. Our snorkeling excursion left from the harbor so we just walked over. Marta also recommended beach side snorkeling spots based on the weather and loaned us snorkeling gear. Hearing we loved animals, she even recommended the potcake rescue where you can walk a shelter puppy for an hour, which we loved (!) I would recommend a car on Providenciales regardless, but location is great, 5-10 minute drive from wherever you need to go, easy parking, and a great grocery store. Everything we needed. So relaxing. Five stars.

When we lost our villa to Hurricane Dorian, we began looking for someplace that offered what we were missing. We found Harbour Club Villas and Marina. Quaint villas family owned and operated. Barry, Marta and their son Michael offer an alternative to the hustle and bustle of Grace Bay which is only a short drive away. The best of both worlds. If your interest is bone fishing , the location of the villas offers you a variety of flats to choose from. Beautiful beaches and great restaurants are also close by.
I can’t say enough about our hosts. We were grateful for their insight and guidance pertaining to the Turks and Caicos. It made it easy for us explore the islands. From day one we felt welcome and they could not have been more accommodating.

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos, and we didn’t know where to stay. Our scuba group (Aqua TCI) recommended Harbour Club. What a great choice – the villas are an island of tranquility. There are 6 one bedroom villas grouped around a pool and lanai. Each has screened and louvered windows to catch the trade winds, and air conditioning in the bedroom for warm nights. The villas are stylish and sparkling clean, and surrounded by flowering shrubs. We stayed a week - most days we walked down the path to the harbor to pick up our scuba boat in the morning, came home for lunch and a siesta, then swam or walked. We mostly cooked for ourselves (good kitchen) and ate at the table outside overlooking Flamingo lake. The hosts were outstanding; Marta organized a rental car, advised on trips and restaurants, and loaned guide books. We can’t say enough about her kindness. She’s an outstanding bird photographer too. I can’t promise flamingos – they are mostly on north Caicos – but I saw two fly by.

Wrong side of the island. Photos are very misleading. Furniture is for outdoors & is extremely uncomfortable.
Construction is going on in the harbor so be prepared to be woken up very early to the digging by the back hoe trying to crack thru the rocks.
The Harbor Club next door doesn't open until 5pm, so no food or drinks unless you head out or cook inside your unit.
My back is wrecked after 3 nights in the warped mattress. Cheap thin single blanket for bed. 7 minute drive to the beach, so a car is mandatory.
The pool is a wading pool, 6 feet long by 4 feet wide.
Clean, but not my cup of tea.

We have welcomed guests to our villas for 20 years now. The 294 excellent or very good Trip Adviser reviews can not all be wrong plus certificates of excellence for the past 5 years. Our personal website and listings on other travel sites all show maps of our location on the south side of the island, current and up to date photos, car rentals recommended and a short drive to beaches at Grace Bay. All our guests know this after they have done their research and when they book. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay. We traveled to Providenciales in March 2020 for a much needed spring vacation and were thrilled to have spent five nights at the Harbour Club Villas. The accommodations are perfect, exactly what a couple needs. It was a great balance of having our own space and also being able to take advantage of the island - we did breakfasts and lunches at the villa, but were glad to enjoy the great restaurants across Provo (we loved Las Brisas, Mango Reef, Solana, Turks Kebab, Turkberry and Island Scoop), but it was a huge help to have the IGA so close plus a full kitchen. The bed was super comfy, AC was nice and chilly, and the rest of the villa had everything we needed, plus Marta, Barry and Mike go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and commitment to their guests! We so appreciate everything they did to make our stay special.
As other reviewers note, you'll definitely want a car, but everything is close, no drive took us more than 15 minutes. I'd also recommend bringing a few reusable grocery bags to bring to the IGA store! We used the cooler, beach chairs and umbrella in the villa, so no need to worry about beach gear!

My wife and I just returned from our annual January getaway.
We have gone to the same island for the last 8 years but I am a fly fisherman and I have not been happy with the fishing on the island we usually frequent so we thought we would give the Turks & Caicos a shot. We had been to the T & C about 15 years ago with the kids and had fond memories (plus I heard there was good bone fishing!!)
Harbour Club Villa and Marina was a perfect place for us. First of all the owners treat you like family, which is amazing. Marta and Barry, along with their son, Mike, are there for you for any purpose. Marta arranged our rental car, my bonefishing guide and they were a super resource for off the beaten path beaches, great restaurants, things to do and things not to do. This took a good amount of guess work out of the trip and saved much time on the island. We even shared cocktails with them and had dinner at a local restaurant.
The location of Harbour Club Villa and Marina is in a great strategic location for the island. It is away from the crowds of touristy Grace Bay but within 10 minutes of just about everything. The island is not that big and a central location is key. Plus they are within a 2 minute walk down the Marina to the coolest beach bar called Bob’s (great drinks and surprisingly awesome food thanks to the chef Francois who is a cool guy).
Mike from Harbor Club pointed us to a very secluded beach about 5 minutes down the road and it was the coolest place. Beautiful beach, crystal clear water that you could wade out forever and not one person to be seen.
The bonefishing was amazing. I fished with Darin Bain for one and a half days and landed about 15 bones. I caught the biggest bonefish of my life...a 9 lb monster!! Plus many others in the 5-7 lb range.
We will definitely return.

Sorry Tracy, didn't see this till now. Mostly flyfishing for bonefish and not too much in the way of tarpon or permit. With a license you can fish mainly the south side where our villas are located.........edibles can be caught actually in our marina. We can also book bonefishing packages which combine bonefishing and accommodation. Thank you,

I'm so sorry but I've only just seen your questions. Yes, we have several car rental companies and most if not all are automatic. Scooters are available but quite honestly, in my opinion, they are a bit dangerous on our roads some of which are not paved such as the road we are on. All in cost (including 12% tax and insurance fees etc) are about $65.00/day. Scooters are from $40 to $50/day plus 12% tax and insurance.
We pretty much can make any and all arrangements for our guests including day trips to North and Middle Caicos.
It's approximately $50 return per person and then a car rental for the day which runs about $70.
