Wave Crest Suits is a budget stay place. Don't try to compare it to a 5⭐ resort, it's a 3⭐ in my books, but the management & staff I'll give them a 5⭐.

They have pretty good vehicles for rent all under one roof.

They are very close to most things.👍👍

We usually design our own vacations rather than select a packaged offering from the line-up available thru tour operators/travel agencies. After doing our research (mostly via internet) we concluded Grenada and the Wavecrest fit our criteria for a two week getaway. Accomodations wise, our required attributes included kitchen facilities, enough space, balcony or patio, comfortable, clean & satisfactorily maintained, convenient location, easy walk to beach, absence of negative reviews, not a high-rise in a concrete jungle area, and a price tag in the US $65-$85 per night range. We stayed 14 nights at Wavecrest Apts - were fully satisfied and didn't see other accomodations (within our criteria) that we would rather have stayed at. Of special note was the balcony overlooking the ocean and great beach. The only small negative was that the street adjoining this property was a busy one. Grenada is a hilly country and a walk back from the beach/main restaurant & shopping areas to the Wave Crest involves a bit of a climb (although not quite as as much of a climb that would be necessary to "go home' to some of the other accomodations in this area - except those immediately adjacent to the beach. All in all i would recommend Wavecrest Apts to couples seeking a reasonably priced holiday apartment in the Grand Anse area. Incidentially Grand anse has one of the best beaches we have visited and it WAS NOT OVERCROWDED.

I found the accomodation very pleasing for the cost. the staff was most helpful. also its proximity to grand anse beach, eating places, airport and town made it ideal. the availability of vehicles for rent on the same premises was another good feature. in fact grenada on the whole seems to be a jewel hidden from the regular tourist beat. i certainly would come again.
thanks alot mr.dabreio,nadia and desiree.

Though all the boxes are checked reality was quite a bit different. Ocean view? Sure? Kitchen, sure, but very limited, just above camping. The shower “repair” was lacking. I did not want to risk my life on getting electrocuted either. I love being in Grenada, been there many times, I’ll stick with the Siesta hotel next time.

Stayed in this hotel - basic for the price...reception not particularly welcoming.. On the second day the maid advised us that hotel policy was that we had to buy our own soap and toilet paper!!

At $75.00 a night this did not go down well. When this was brought to the owner's mother's attention, we were shouted at and insulted! Have since been told by employees there that she is VERY rude! Had we not paid in advance we would have left there and then!

Not a bad place but customer relations and hotel policies need to be revised!!

Don't be put off by the 'hill climb' to the reception, once you get to the room, you can flop on the large bed to catch your breath.
I didn't do any cooking but there are ample appliances for the job..and the fridge cooled up really fast..for the beers. The air conditioning was a breeze and a quick flick of the remote , soon got rid of the balmy humidity that is the Caribbean.
Note that the phone in the room needs to be credited and this can be done at Reception. Its actually a mobile connection ( Digicel) stuck to the wall like a landline phone. Wireless internet is available, but make sure you get Reception to tell you which modem you need to log in with, as room location affects signal strength. Oh... and the password to link up to the internet reads like an elongated serial number ! The owner was looking into getting it shortened. The wireless does work very well, once these hurdles are crossed !.
The maid service was very prompt and efficient , clearing away any signs of Grand Anse's (a 10 minute walk away) golden sand from the bed and floor !
You can rent a car/suv at the apartment and leave it at the airport if you are flying out. Well worth staying there again. Cheers !

Wave Crest is located a short walk from Grand Anse beach. This place needs a refresher. Here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
Cleaned every day
Dabs car rentals on site
Equipped kitchen - a hodge podge of the very basic utensils
Staff helpful and friendly

Cons:
Very NOISY. These apartments are located on a very busy road. The sound of the vehicles could be heard on the top floor and the ground floor.
No pool
No outdoor space to relax
Layout of rooms weird, You walk in to the bedroom area and then into the dining/kitchen area
TV in bedroom so you have to lay in bed to watch TV
Have to request a microwave and iron if one is needed
Lots of junk stored on property, under buildings and between buildings
On a steep hill. If you cannot climb steps request a ground floor apartment
No hot water in first apartment, had to switch apartments and the hot water was moderately better
Lots of mosquitoes - the balcony which opens up on to an overgrown piece of land where the mosquitoes seem to be coming from so couldn't really sit in that area and enjoy the open space
Don't drink the water from the taps, get bottled water.

Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else that is maintained better.

I have never stayed at a hotel or resort while in Grenada. This was my very first time and I was very much impressed with this place and will stay there again. The rooms were kept very clean with daily service and the landscape was well kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt comfortable staying there and will surely return to Wavecrest Grenada on my next visit. Hope to get the same room because the view was excellent. The walks up the hills was not too bad after a couple days. We figured out which bus to take and where to get off so we would walk down instead of up. I liked the location to the mall, grocery store, KFC, and my favorite beach....Grande Anse. Great place to stay and we love it!!

I get a feeling from other reviews that they are often written by people that do not know the Caribbean in general or Grenada in particular. Compared to several places I have stopped at in the country, this place is excellent and yet a fraction of their prices.

Charming management and staff, too!

I recommend it frequently to friends and business colleagues

Needed to stay close by the airport because of a early flight so we opted for this spot right before we left. The place itself is small and quiet and it has air conditioning. My biggest problem is that it has NO HOT WATER despite the water heater being on. Walking distance to a few interesting places.
