I wanted to give a special shout out to the staff at the resort. Each and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The servers and bar tenders were attentive and very nice. Often it’s the negative reviews that get the management’s attention. I do hope that the hotel’s management spend some time reviewing the positive reviews and ensure that their employees are recognized for all their hard work.
The hotel had daily activities (both by the pool and the beach) to keep the resort lively and active. The entire entertainment staff works extremely hard to ensure all hotel guests are having a good time. They work from the morning to late at night ensuring the guests are constantly entertained with games, music and daily shows. Alex, Esmeralda, Martin and Isaac were all very nice and always had a smile on their face. Amauris (the announcer for the shows every night) who is also part of the entertainment team was amazing! He was friendly and always full of energy. I just want to say thank you for ensuring we had a great time every night with music and the organized shows. Thank you for the dance lessons! Hope to be back next year and see the same amazing team!

Food was great and enjoyed the drinks especially the non alcholoic since we were with our kids.
Our 2nd room was great for us,roomy and comfy bed. Rooms were very clean.
Now the not so fun parts... bring bug spray. The resort was great in spraying and doing their best... apart of nature.
When we got there we had some issues with our rooms. Staff did what they could, we ended up just paying for an upgrade which was fine.
We were not told about all the food options at check in, we had to figure that out on our own as there are food options but if you don't know it seems like you are limited to the buffet. Other resorts tell us at check in.
There wasn't enough garbage bins.
I didn't think about it but a reusable cup would be great to limit all the empty plastic cups flying around.
Beach was nice. It was a little overwhelming all the vendors coming to try to sell you stuff.
Nice walk to the mall which was a nice place to shop. If you go visit the 2nd floor. We found the best deals there.
We had a room with a spa tub on the balcony which could’ve been nice but it was ruined by the location, we constantly heard some kind of machines running & sometimes people who work there putting out trash though we couldn’t see them but mainly our view consisted of buildings & the street below.
The “ocean view” was way off in the distance, the view of the water was a small opening between a lot of other hotels etc.
For all-inclusive the food is really great we especially enjoyed the buffet food, it was top notch for a buffet.
We also appreciated our waiter Antonio Cruz who served us a few times & was very welcoming, helpful, friendly & fun. He was the queen of the waiters! The hotel check in attendants were also very helpful, we stayed there April 22, 2022. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names now but they also made a great impression of the hotel.
We did our booking through the official website. It said you can have free upgrade, early check in and late check out but employees at the reception are not aware, so we didn't have any of these while there were availabilities.
When we arrive to our room there were 2 twin size beds instead of 1 king size as booked. Guys, when you see a couple arriving and if you have availability, give directly a king size bed instead of 2 small beds, that's seems logical, especially when you have a total of 80 guests in the resort + it was what we booked. Anyway electricity was not working on the room so we changed.
For the second room we waited 1 hour before maintenance was able to open the door.
Room looks and smell bad. Ac is not working, you can choose either between 10 degrees or no AC.
Maitress of the bed is so old it's not flat anymore, same for the pillows.
Wifi is not working well or not working at all.
Dinner : no menu available, depend of the memory of the waiters. We know usually it's a buffet and because of the Covid you do A la carte but be reactive and creative. Print some menus, write it on a board, use QR codes, waiters do their best but for sure they cannot remember all.
Preparation of the dinner was ok but quality of food is the worst you can find. Cesar celad with half of the ingredients, the other half looks from last week. Good point was the portion was so small that the agony was fast. Chicken, beef, salmon are probably the cheapest you can find here in RD so quality is so poor.
At the bar we wanted a mojito which is a basic cocktail but hotel said that we need to pay extra charges as it considers as premium drink.
Breakfast : writing or not, half of our order was wrong. Again no menu so waiters are not sure what they have. No process for them, they took orders of all the tables then bring it to the kitchen so first tables waited so long and probably kitchen received all orders at the same time that it took 1 hour for 2 omelettes. We ordered more food as the omelettes received were so small but after one more hour waiting we left the restaurant.
So, so far catastrophic resort, employees are nice and do their best but with no means, no process, no management? And poor quality products.
Even if the resort give discounts, it still didn't worth it.
A couple of downsides- you have to pay for use of the safe in your room and wifi costs $45USD per day.
Other than that our trip was great. We would like to go back.

This resort is incredibly clean. The rooms are done up nicely and never musty. We had a supersaver room and we LOVED it. There are some stairs but not too many, you get a huge room and bathroom with high ceilings. No balcony but doesnt make a difference. You have to wait a while, but then the shower water is piping hot.
Food was lovely, very varied. Could do with an additional a la carte as there were only 2.
We had the select upgrade and highly recommend-- its almost worth it just for the safe and wifi free, but the little foods and sandwich bar are amazing and the drinks are strong. Actually, drinks were pretty strong throughout resort.
Didn't have trouble finding a pool chair. Lots of Canadians. What else can i say? Just go!

The stay was pleasurable when we learnt how to adjust for the minor challenges.
The hot water issue needs to be resolved as it takes a very long time for it to get somewhat comfortable.
As for the rest, we had a comfortable room, breathtaking views, great service, good food and an incredible beach.
I only wish they have free wi-fi as it cost me a little fortune to use an acceptable Canadian plan for the two weeks as I was expecting very important calls and emails. I was not impressed by the cost of the safety box either but overall we truly enjoyed our stay and may return.
