We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe villa for 7 nights with our 5 month old and found it to be one of, if not the best place we've stayed in our many trips to Bali. Upon arrival late at night we were a bit annoyed because they did not have a cot for our little one and could not get one as they were all taken. This was resolved by them agreeing to unlock the upstairs (their 2 bedroom villas are basically the same as one bedroom but upstairs is locked) so I could sleep while my little one had the king bed! This only irritated us because we specifically emailed to make sure we had a cot.
Aside from that, the stay was fabulous. The staff were friendly, attentive and kind, always wanting to do more. The rooms themselves are the cleanest I've seen in Bali and the grand outdoor bathrooms are beautiful. The pool was perfect temperature and cleaned daily. We can't comment on the breakfast as we always eat out, which was another benefit of the location of the hotel as it is literally around the corner from eat street where all the amazing cafes are. The only time we ate at the hotel was getting an ice cream sundae from the hotel which was delicious.

We recently stayed for five nights in a two bedroom deluxe villa at the Mutiara Resort and villa. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and large the villa was. It consisted of 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, a small (outdoor) living and kitchen area and a pool.
The bedrooms are very large and had beautiful traditional outdoor bathrooms. There is loads of space for storage and the main bedroom opens out to pool area – so its a lovely view to wake up to! Its located one street back from Eat street and has lots of convenience stores and massage places close by. If you walk out of hotel turn right and then first right that street takes you straight to Eat street near Ultimos restaurant! That street also has convenience stores, massage places, laundry and restaurants.
Breakfast was included in our stay and delivered to our villa every morning , it was okay - not great. We walked past the main pool and other amenities but never used them. Overall the villas are very nice and the hotel is in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Very central to Eat Street and Seminyak Square. I stayed in a deluxe room over looking the pool. There are 2 rooms, the airconditioned bedroom/living area and the bathroom. The bathroom is huge and open and for this reason there is no airconditioning. The pool was clean, quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast service was hit and miss with only 1 person serving. The younger girl was friendly and efficient but the the woman was slower and not very friendly. One day I waited 30 minutes for my order to be taken and for coffee. The breakfast area was very busy that day and with only one staff it was too much, the hotel needs to supply another person to help when it's that busy. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, especially the last couple of days due to Jetstar twice delaying my flight then cancelling it at the last minute. Reception gave me the room for an extra night and rescheduled my airport transfer. The cleaning team were very reliable and efficient, probably the best I have come across in my travels. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Bali.

Having spent a few weeks just really chilling out in Bali we decided to end our visit at the Mutiara. Value for money could not really knock it as it was not a lot more than it cost for a week in Kuta. However I do think the photos make it look better than it really is. The term boutique conveys a different type of establishment in my mind than this hotel. The pool area is sadly lacking shade which means you can not use the sun loungers for most of the day or you just burn up. Breakfast is very good and freshly cooked for you. Our Bedroom was tired however we did notice refurbishment taking place so hopefully this will improve. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Nice location for getting to main entertainment areas and the beach is relatively easy to reach in about 10/15 min walk.

We stayed in one of their 1 bedroom villas. It was a good experience. Staff are always so nice and pleasant to deal with, nothing it too much problem. The villas are generally ok and well appointed. The bed is huge and comfortable (a bit too firm for my spouse). The bathroom is well appointed and has direct outdoor access in case you are coming directly from the pool. The lighting is also well designed. They have a great Bluetooth speaker which we used in often. Just a few things need improvement; the Villa pool is lovely but the bottom gets a little green with algae and needs good scrub every now and then. Perhaps a bit more chlorine also. They have a two seater couch in the villa lounge area, it is very small and it would be nicer if the couch was a bit bigger and more comfortable. The AC in the bedroom was a bit underpowered and struggled to keep the room cool during very hot nights. I say this so the hotel can perhaps address some of these minor issues, not as a criticism. The hotel is generally well located, we found it very quiet and peaceful but only a short walk to the busy Eat Street which was great. You do have walk along the road for 50m where there is no footpath but the traffic is not too bad. Breakfast was included and they had a good choice of different option which you ordered. Each dish was prepared separately and very tasty. We also had several lunch meals delivered to the villa, service was prompt and the food was very nice. A very special mention to Sri, the young woman serving the restaurant. She was so nice and helpful. We had a few days when we weren’t feeling the best and she arranged some off menu food for us and always checked if we were OK. Very thoughtful and professional. There’s a small gym on-site but we didn’t use it. The main pool is lovely and also quiet and peaceful. All in all a lovely stay and great experience, we would stay here again without any doubt. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids in their late teens. The complex is very well located to everything. The villa was clean and the staff were polite and very attentive in the most part. We had a 2 bedroom villa with its own pool. The villa was averagely equipped and had 3 glasses for 4 people etc, the fridge kept coming open and therefore everything got warm. The private pool and garden was a great size and the pool was beautiful. The strange thing was we only had 2 sun loungers round the pool. We requested 2 more as it was a 4 person villa and was told the villa only came with 2. I questioned this at reception as it is a villa for 4 persons to be repeatedly told I could not have another two loungers. We stayed for 5 nights and on the occasions we wanted to relax by the pool two of us had to lay on the floor!!!! Very very strange for a 4 star hotel charging what this place does. Breakfast was OK at the best, not very big portions and generally cold. When the room was cleaned on the 2nd to last day they also decided to remove our digital TV receiver with nil explanation so the TV then no longer worked. In all it was a clean hotel with pleasant staff but not really what I would expect for the money. There are better hotels in the area.

We stayed in a villa with pool. The rooms and the property in general was great. We couldn't fault the pool.
That said... the breakfast was absolutely deplorable. The dining room was unattractive and presented as a cheap diner. Guests were presented with a laminated sheet of our choices. We happily chose fruit, juice, and eggs. My daughter had chosen oatmeal. It was unappetising. The table next to us also were struggling to eat their breakfast. The food was poor.
The next day we had it in our villa... this time the breakfast was inedible. The eggs arrived and they were hard poached Egg Benedict. I asked for these to be done again and for a member of our party to have her Nasi Goreng redone as it was cold. The eggs arrived second time. They were hot this time but hard poached again. We couldn't eat it.
It is such a disconnect between the lovely accommodation and the disgusting breakfasts. We don't need a big buffet, just a good well cooked meal. We are paying it for it.
Based on the breakfasts, we wouldn't stay here again. We have had lovely accommodation all over Bali AND nice breakfasts. It is achievable.

A unique experience as you get your own villas within a sprawling compound, but yet get all the privacy that you want. Booked the 2 villa unit and the spacious area is good for 2 couples or family. Included together with your own private pool, dining area and kitchenette. Rooms are comfortable and bathroom comes with both tub and and separate shower cubicle. Tucked in Seminyak hotspots, you are able to walk to nearby restos ans cafes as well as shopping. Also you can choose to have either the 2 rooms, 3 or even a whole bungalow villa - depending on your pax and wants. There's also your normal hotel like suites within the resort. My first contact was with Tari in reservations,who was very professional and handled my requests promptly and with ease. This became evident as my arrival and checkin was quick and simple aided by Anaya. My villa was clean along with the linen and a comfortable bed with sensational pillows! The restaurant food was of high quality with one of the best Nasi Goreng I have eaten in Indonesia,albeit No fried egg! Breakfast had a fair a la carte selection. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. I have two very young children and they are always so accommodating and helpful when we stay here, probably why we have kept going back there and will continue too. The manager Suharto is such a wonderful person and goes above and beyond, and his staff have made every stay we’ve had so enjoyable and relaxing. The resort itself is spotlessly clean, the location is brilliant and the atmosphere is just perfect. If you are staying in Seminyak, this is definitely the place to stay.

I have stayed in an inside villa (881) and one facing the street (107). The ones facing the street are fine at night by the time you close you door and curtains you won't hear a thing. You will hear the noise during the day though while you are by the pool but its not too bad. We would stay facing the street again as there is more space. I am also a light sleeper and if I can handle it anyone can!
Suggest you check with the hotel directly via their website to check if this would be possible !!! From my recent experience they have been a stickler for timely checkout !!! They had given me an extra hour when my flight was at 1830 hrs. !!!
There are more places to choose from in the Kerobokan Kelod area.
