Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We have visited quite a few hotels on the Island and we both agree that this is one of the best places to stay. The room is very nice, clean, new, well equppied beyond 4 stars standards. The whole resort is very well kept throughout even during the COVID where we see most hotels kinda slipped from their normal standards.
Location wise it was really great. Close to city but not too busy, with long beach front where the guards stay on watch 24/7. Perfect for family with children.
The breakfast was amazing. Food has great variety, good tastes and cooked fresh.
The hotel also includes free pick up and drop off from airport (I am not sure whether this promotion will stay post COVID though) which is very convenient for first time travelers.
But the best of all is the staff and GM, Mr. Mahesh who attentively greet every guests on check in and check out and walk through the property all the time to make sure everything is well maintained to high standards.
We couldnt give more praise to this property. You wont be dissapoint!

Had a 3 day stay. The staff was very nice. Due to weak wifi they moved us to a different room and provided a roll bed at no costs. The Manager was very engaged on the daily operations and quite pleasant. The beach is nice but the water drops quickly and maybe not as safe as farther down the beach. The pool was fine but little shade while in the water until later in the afternoon. The breakfast was fine. There were a few places to eat, shop and massage within walking distance.

On arrival to Phu Quoc airport we were greeted by L’Azures driver and swept away in luxury transport.. Massage chairs and super comfort. We were promptly checked in and although ahead of official check in time they did their upmost to get us into the room as quick as they could.
We went for the best room available which was the beachfront villa with private pool. Fruit in the room was a nice touch and the room had plenty of space. Large comfy bed and plenty of amenities. The outside area is steps away from the beach and the private pool is of a good size. For the price point of this room it needs some work, the repairs did look rushed, tiles missing in the pools and the back doors not shutting properly at the rear. There is also large gaps at the single rear door allowing mosquitoes through. The bed is covered at the side with mosquitos nets but not at the top making this pointless. Still a nice room just needs some love.
The food and drink on offer was great. Room service menu was ample and breakfast had a great buffet selection eggs etc. Prices weren’t too steep for food and drink compared to other 5* resorts on Phu Quoc. The cocktails were of a good standard.
The gym is sufficient with enough space for a couple of attendees, weights up to 22kg and a side beach view.
Location is perfect for walking into town (10-15mins) and seeing Duong Dongs shops etc. After a few nights this is a perfect length of stay being boutique sized resort.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Duong Dong with a beautiful beach. We had a beach villa with a nice view to the beach and ocean. Our villa was big and had a modern style.
The staff were service minded and polite, but many of them did not speak English very well. Breakfast was ok, got a bit boring after a few days, because if you don't eat warm food, you could only have marmelade and cheese for your bread. No ham or salami. They seemed to have various on the warm food though and also had an egg station where you could order eggs the way you liked.
If you wanted a sunbed at the beach, you had to get up before 8 am every day. After that they were all taken, and you had to sit in the sand. The hotel was full when we were there, and clearly they did not have enough sunbeds for all guests each day.
We didn't always have clean towels in our bathroom, they sometimes had stains. We discovered this 3-4 times during our stay. Besides that, the room was cleaned well each day.
Appreciated the free airport pickup and drop off, which most of the hotels in Puh Quoc provide.

We stayed at this lovely resort with our family, 2 adults, and 2 children (aged 4 and 7) for 8 nights.
The location is perfect, close to the beach, and all the rooms are set back from noise and commotion, providing a peaceful and spacious atmosphere.
We visited during the low season, which meant there wasn't much happening in the immediate area. However, in the high season, there might be more restaurants along the beach. Duong Dong's center, including the Night Market, is just a short walk or a 5-minute taxi ride away.
The hotel offers great facilities and well-maintained rooms. The pool is fantastic, although it could use a bit of renovation – after a few days, we hardly noticed it anymore 😅.
The breakfast is perfect with a wide selection of both Asian and Western dishes. The sausage variety was particularly impressive when we first arrived, but it diminished a bit over time, though there was still plenty to choose from.
The staff provided excellent service, from housekeeping to pool attendants and receptionists. Everyone went out of their way to ensure you have the best possible experience during your stay.
I had several good conversations with the manager throughout our stay about various matters, and he was truly committed to making sure everything went smoothly 💪.
Certainly a place we would consider returning to in the future.

This is a fairly small and compact resort with lush landscaping, a nice quiet pool and beach. Location is perfect with the main road just outside the resort having a ton of shops and restaurants. Due to the landscaping and being downhill from the road, you never heard any noise from the road and were in your own little oasis.
Rooms were big, well stocked with amenities and nice things to have while on the resort. AC worked great and the bathrooms were updated and very nice. One oddity is not having a bathroom door, just a curtain makes it not very private.
All of the staff we encountered were very kind and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious and had a giant spread of options.
This is so much better than the generic mega resorts they are building all over this island. Definitely stay here and utilize the central location to explore the local shops and restaurants in the area as well as the night market which is only ~15 minute walk.

This resort exceeded our expectations! The grounds are lush and beautiful and very well maintained and a pleasure to walk around in. We really loved the bungalow type of accommodation for an island stay instead of high rise type accommodation. Complimentary airport transfers were punctual and welcomed. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely set out and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and always ready to help with transport, luggage and tours. We loved the pool area and spent many hours lazing around it, swimming and taking advantage of the pool bar for smoothies. We also enjoyed the sun beds on the beach, the beach in front of the hotel was peaceful and clean. This does change when you move up to the public beaches. The breakfast room is nicely set out and the range of food on offer was extensive and tasty. We found the resort to be peaceful and quiet, especially at night. The location is also good. You can easily turn left out of the hotel and walk to town and the night markets. For restaurants we preferred to turn right out of the hotel. There are several restaurants within the area. Our favourite restaurant was Yen local eatery in a lane not far from the hotel and if you like cocktails Boroda bar has a good two for one deal. Both of these are turn right and about 15 minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed a three island tour which included snorkelling and the cable car and would also recommend a visit to Khem beach.

The overall feel of the resort is pretty good. Located on the main road with multiple eateries, massage and supermarkets just outside the complex, it is easy to locate and find. The resort is built to be like a small forest by the riverside with a good sized pool and large rooms with balconies. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread is decent and we left with a full stomach every day. The only thing missing was a restaurant/pub on the beach. Do pick the pool facing or the sea facing rooms as the others simply face other rooms and offer not much of a view.

We stayed at the L'Azure Resort for 4 nights in early December. The resort is fairly close to the main Duong Dong area and has a very tropical/Balinese vibe. We stayed in the Deluxe Seafront Room with balcony on the ground floor. In my opinion, the rooms are not worth the 5 star price we paid. The set up was a bit dated and really not what we expected. But the view was excellent as we were just steps away from the beach. I suppose we paid for the view! We paid a hefty sum for an extra bed for my son which was just a foldup metal base with a very thin mattress...quite uncomfortable for teenagers/adults. Breakfast was very good with lots of western and local delights. The pool was average and not located near the beach so remained empty throughout our stay. Most guests preferred to lounge on the lovely and clean beach. The General Manager, Mr Mahesh, is a very pleasant and helpful man who speaks great English. There are several mini marts across the road for stocking up cold beers or snacks in the fridge. Also, there are a few local restaurants nearby but communication is a BIG problem. I doubt I shall return to Phu Quoc again and most surely not pay high rates for the L'Azure Resort.

We stayed at L'Azure in late November for 6 nights and couldn't fault the resort.
The hotel picked us up from the airport in their mini bus and were waiting outside for us to arrive. Again, they arranged to take us back to the airport in their mini bus which was really nice and clean.
On arrival we were given a welcome drink and taken straight to our room. The room was very clean and a lovely temperature. Couldn't fault the room at all and the balcony was nice to have a clothes rack to dry our towels/swimwear. The water was topped up each day along with anything we used in the bathroom. It was a great touch to get flipflop, bags and hats to use during your stay. Slept great each night with no noise.
Pool/Beach, we stayed at both and always got a bed with no issue at all during our stay. The pool was really nice in the afternoon with the sun and the drinks were very well priced however the food was a little more experience and you could grab a banh mi across the street.
Breakfast 10/10!! so much choice and it changed up every day.
Staff - everyone was so nice and cheery to us.
Location - you can walk to the night market however we found the best bars and restaurants to be out the hotel and turn right. Boroda bar did the best cocktails and 241.
