What a find. Beautiful, quiet secluded setting, so comfortable and 100% attention to eco values. We stayed 4 nights. Staff were wonderful. Jiwaan and Baloo superb safari guide and driver- so lucky to have them for all three day's drives...and we did see tiger and wild elephants as well as lots of other lovely animals and birds. Lovely fresh organic ingredients from their garden and surrounding area beautifully cooked by chef and restaurant staff who really attentive to your preferences. Can't recommend it highly enough if you fancy time in this beautiful, quieter national park.

Walking through the doors of Jim's Jungle Retreat for the very first time left me awestruck.
Tastefully made, quiet, safe and secure, Jim's really does stand out for its humble staff, joyful atmosphere, cozy quarters and the many activities it offers. The staff on the safari, the jungle walk, the village walk really put in an effort to help us spot as many animals as possible.Needless to say we managed to catch a glimpse of the tiger. The communication at Jim's is excellent, and our day went on seamlessly with brilliant effort on their part. The food is exquisite and will get you excited. Sufficient sanitary measures were put in place, including accomodating guests during meals in the diner, the overhead machan as well as in the open.
My family is a frequent visitor there but this was my first visit, and I have to say, I'm sold.

A little tug on the pocket, but it's exquisite, you won't regret it.

We were a group of 12 friends ( 6 couples ) and on recommendations of family and friends , we decided to spend Holi weekend at Jim's jungle retreat in Jim Corbett park .The booking procedure and information exchange was very smooth thanks to Mr. Ram of Delhi office . We were informed in advance that the resort takes pride in giving a total wilderness experience . After a drive of 7 hours drive from Noida to this resort ( thanks to Holi weekend rush ) , the place looked extremely welcoming upon our arrival . The entire setting was beautiful more than I expected . Cottages are very well laid out with enough privacy, high ceilings , comfortable furniture and with ecological features .Good food being served with personalised service at all the 3 meals was a major draw. Carpet Sahib's cafe with a terrace is a super place to unwind and chit chat . There were enough areas to sit around . They organised fabulous Pool side dinner specially for us on 2 evenings ! One day we opted for bush dinner which again was a great experience and feel . On holi day the resort organised local singers and dancers and with chaat counters and an Indian cuisine lunch . The safaris were organised to Zhirna and Bijrani areas and both were equally enjoyable . Some of us did manage to spot 2 tigers and a big herd of elephants and a huge variety of birds , monkeys , langoors , deer etc . All in all it was a relaxing wonderful experience to stay 3 nights at Jim's retreat . I could not find fault with place , location , accommodation , food and service . A big applause to management and staff for a great holiday !

Such a refreshing and lovely time we had out here at Jim's Jungle Retreat. We had heard great things about the property already but its usual hard to exceed expectations that are already set very high. Jim's however manages to pull that off and some more.

We were 2 couples with 7 & 11 month old infants venturing out with our new borns with many apprehensions for the first time for 3 nights here. But the staff led by the GM Mr Shyam and all the food arrangements by Mr. Najeef and his team were just fantastic and always helpful with every tiny (may even have been ridiculous) requests of ours.

The chef had spun the most amazing meals. Every Lunch and Dinner was a treat for any foodie. The quality of the greens organically grown at the property was impeccable. The fruits served at breakfast were succulent and fresh. The non vegetarian dishes whether chicken, fish or mutton were just delicious which kept us wanting more.

The experience of the walks around the property were also very cool since it borders the Dhela zone at Jim Corbett with lovely birding opportunities.

The housekeeping folks were also super helpful and forthcoming. We had an issue with the heating in the room with the oil heater not functioning and an infant who needed the warm room given the extreme cold weather at Jim Corbett in December. The technicians were at it to get everything working perfectly so as to ensure our comfortable stay and they were more than successful with their efforts. Thanks again guys.

The rooms/cottages are just beautiful and keeps the experience as real as can be for a visit to the wild. a lovely wrap around verandah and stepping into the room we had a sitting area, bedroom, dress area and a very eco friendly, true to nature fully equipped bathroom. We had enough room for our baby car nanny to sleep seperately within the room as well. Their service to our personal travelling staff was also very good and well looked after. All in all both our families and our babies had the most awesome time here with pleasing evenings in front of the bon fire. Wish we could have stayed on and longer.

Our visit had an icing on the cake with a tiger sighting on our last safari into the Jhirna zone. :)

Thanks for everything JJR. Look forward to trying to make this an annual...if not atleast a once in 2 year visit for sure.

I organised the trip for my husband’s birthday. Having travelled across India I have to say this is one of the best resorts I have stayed in. The resort has a core that is made from people who truly know and understand wildlife and the forest- are passionate about this and encourage guests to learn. We stayed for two nights and every evening we were enthralled with a documentary and a journey of the various species around us. Everything was organised to the tee and I would really encourage true nature lovers to come and visit and stay here. Thank you to the amazing staff and especially Manoj the naturalist who lifts your spirit and makes you believe in the good of the world. Saurabh is the spa will take your pain away and add to the beautiful relaxation holiday you deserve and must have!

If you want to be next to nature then this is the place to be.
I can highly recommend Jim’s Jungle Retreat. We were a family of 11 staying at the Retreat. The staff were exceptional and could not have been more helpful. The food was absolutely delicious all home cooked and dietary needs catered for such as gluten free and vegetarian. A birthday was being celebrated and Ratti the manager arranged a special dinner with birthday cake and flowers. The lodges were homely and comfortable and as it was winter hot water bottles in our beds. Also on the early morning drives along with blankets to keep out the cold.
The jungle drives were exciting and on the last day a tiger was sighted on the morning drive. A Wonderful encounter. In the afternoon the younger members of the family went for a jungle walk with a wildlife guide experiencing the marvellous flora and fauna plus the pug marks of a tiger that passed by recently. The evenings were magical with a wildlife film shown around an open fire with drinks before dinner. We just missed a visit by Royalty as the king and queen of Sweden had stayed here the week before.
We would have liked to have stayed longer but will certainly return if back in India.

Very close to the national park entrance and drivers and guides were excellent especially if you were prepared to sit and wait, listen and watch. Staff and food were excellent. It’s a small site so range of food is limited.Lots of places to sit around the site.
Room included a separate sitting area and strangely a shower room with WC and another WC room. Drawbacks, monkeys on site wake shortly after dawn and use the corrugated tin roofs as paths-not a problem if you are going out on Safaris. Over use of the hot water means it may run out for second person. If you love old fashioned safari hotels this is for you. If you want a modern upmarket hotel then no.

It would be totally unfair to not take out time to write about the most amazing experience that we had of our life even if it comes a bit late.
Totally unaware of the what I was going to experience and otherwise not such a fan of outdoors, I went ahead and glad I did as it was one of the most beautiful experience to have been at Jim's Jungle resort. We were warmly welcomed by Manoj, the person who is extremely knowledgeable and with his calm and understanding nature understands your expectations, he takes care of every detail. There are some wonderful packages where he assists you around the resort so you can enjoy and understand everything. Since I was travelling with my daughter she was not allowed for the river trek as its not advisable for kids but Manoj again was very helpful, he arranged for nature walk for us where we were accompanied around the resort to understand the flora and fauna, must say my daughter was so interested and took note of all details as explained to her.
The staff all around is very warm and hospitable. Each and ever area of the resort is tastefully done where you can get absorbed in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The cafe and the all day dining is another interesting experience as the menu is carefully planned where you a perfect mix of Indian and continental food and needless to say that you get whatever you ask for., Every evening there was bonfire with drinks where Manoj would be playing some interesting documentaries and explaining alongside.
The rooms are again very tastefully done with everything you can think of. They are matching the theme of the resort so well!
The safari was super exciting and the staff surprised us on the way back as they were carrying some sandwiches and tea just what I could have asked for in the end.

I must thank everyone who has worked hard into making the place the way it is.

My only regret is I had not discovered this place earlier. A total gem in the middle of the jungle . Four star comfort fantastic service a wonderful and acclaimed naturalist in mr Manoj Sharma . To top it all it is pet friendly so could take our cocker spaniel along. The food by chef negi is really nice and every meal has a different theme. In covid times you worry about sanitization you can't get better than Jim's. We really enjoyed out stay our walks and my son who is a lover of reptiles got to see three chequred keelbacks in the grounds.
Hope to be back soon

Jim's Jungle Retreat offers a truly outstanding experience. The entire team is so well trained and sensitive which enhances the whole experience. The food is beyond outstanding-- fresh, organic produce cooked very well which in my opinion is a game changer. The accommodation was super neat, clean and very comfortable. Our naturalist Rakesh Bhatt and our driver Babloo Pandey were exceptional. We saw 5 tigers in a span of 3 days; 3 tuskers one of which playfully charged our jeep and the other walked behind our vehicle for over a kilometer; a Changable Hawk Eagle; a Crested Serpant Eagle; a variety of Kingfisher's and even the Great Indian Hornbill, Oriental Hornbill and Grey Hornbills. An ideal place for a getaway which has great access combined with excellent accommodation, food and brilliant naturalists. Highly recommended 👌. Thank you Jim's Jungle Retreat for yet another memorable holiday. See you all soon

Hello! Thank you for your question. We do sometimes get the rhesus macaque and the langur come and visit the property, as we abut the buffer forest of Corbett. They are passing through however, and are not a troublesome lot. The staff takes care to keep them at bay should too many of them venture in. We hope to see you here to experience the wonders of our forest - the mongoose, jackals, deer and countless birds and butterflies, who are visitors here too.

Hello again :) The water channels are mostly covered by bridges and or have concrete roads running through. Smaller vehicles are able to cross these channels without difficulty.
