Clara speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. She has a fun personality. You use the same shuttle bus all day. Our group had 19 people. First, you go to Christ the Redeemer. After that you drive around to a few spots in downtown Rio. You have lunch around 1pm. The last part of the tour is SugarLoaf Mountain. It was clear skies so you could see the whole city. - Lisa G3 contributionsOur trip with Tati was incredible, and our driver Romulo knew the quickest routes and was always waiting to pick us up when we were ready. We were able to quickly get to the front of the line when necessary, and find the cleanest bathrooms. We tried all the local food and saw the best of the sights. Additionally, it was extra lucky to have Tati as our guide because she was able to take us on mini hikes to a waterfall and some caves up in the Tijuca forest. You get a great perspective to see both sides of the falls on this tour. The guide Mary was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful. Great customer service provided and truly worth it. Well organized with transportation and great tour of the municipal market. Lots of samples of local foods and wonderful shops to buy items from. Raul is a great host with knowledge of the history and foods of Rio. - ZeehashMississauga, Canada77 contributionsIt was a wonderful trip. Very scenic. We had time to swim at 2 beaches and 3 spots off the boat. Flavia was one of the best tour guides I’ve come across. We were the only English speakers on the tour and she made sure all our questions were answered and we were comfortable. A thumbs up to Paulo the driver who drive carefully and alertly avoiding an accident when a car pulled in front of us.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that lunch was provided at 5pm when we returned from the boat trip. That was a long time to wait especially as the first hotel pick up was at 6.30. Food was available to buy on the boat but as lunch was included in the price most people didn’t want to. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we got the best of both the Argentina and Brazilian sides of the waterfalls. In addition, he also recommended a great place to stop for lunch (great variety and inexpensive), and also took us to the wheel of 3 countries. He was a fantastic guide and we had the best time (2 adults, 1 16 yr old). Our guide was phenomenal and showed us many animals as well as provided us with little interesting facts a long the way. This company is first class, you shouldnt have any issues. Please give them your business as they are kind of the little guys out there.
