Our driver was Fabulous! She loves her city and happy to show you everything it has to offer. Her driving was excellent we had 4 inches of snow day of tour and she was very patient because getting us to some of the sights took some doing. Highly recommend her and this tour.

My husband and I took the Summer day tour last week and had a nice time. Our guide, Jim, told great stories and had a great sense of humor. He did his best to find animals throughout the drive. He helped us see a polar bear, ptarmigans, red fox, bald eagle, tundra swans, and a variety of birds. It wasn’t yet polar bear season so we were happy to see the one we saw. The soup and sandwich lunch was good and could be altered in advance for vegans too. There is a bathroom on board and a viewing deck on the back of the buggy. A unique way to spend the day.

My family and I had an EXCEPTIONALA experience in Churchill thanks to Frontiers North team and planning. We saw hundreds of belugas, many at the side of our zodiacs, we saw polar bears swimming, sunning and under our tundra buggy. The guide, driver, staff and lodging and dining were exceptional!!!

this is a gotta go to place for anyone who wants to experience great wildlife in an out of the way place with excellent comfort and cuising.

We were in Winnipeg tracing our Métis family history, we booked this tour to support our quest for knowledge on the “Riel” time period. We were not disappointed, the tour took us to several points of interest, on our way to each destination we were given the history of our next stop.
I would highly recommend booking this tour, it is four hours of stepping back into the life and times of Louis Riel.

It was everything we could have possibly hoped for!

Potentially we were really lucky to encounter the bears that we did but I am sure it was in no small part down to the experience of our guide. He was knowledgeable and had a fabulous personable way of imparting this knowledge, whilst also managing to keep all of the coach both engaged and relaxed. We saw 12 bears and cubs in total, including a mum with three cubs (extremely rare) and had a male come right up to the buggy to inspect us! Seeing the bears in their natural habitat was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The lunch provided was also good quality and they catered for dietary requirements made known in advance.

Although the buggy is heated make sure you layer up because you’ll be opening the window frequently for view and photo ops.

If I had planned better I would also have arranged a northern lights tour.

You only need minimal time to mooch around the town because it is very small.

Life got in the way of me writing this review sooner, but the delay should not detract from the awesome experience we had with Frontier North. We could not have asked for a better experience. Everything went like clockwork. We were busy from the moment we touched down in Churchill to when we returned to Winnipeg. We saw SO many bears. I had hoped to see one, and we saw more than a dozen. We also learned so much about the indigenous people and local history. Accommodations were basic, but comfortable and clean. I believe Frontier North actually built, or bought, the hotel where we stayed, and two of our restaurants were directly across the street from the hotel, so super convenient. Food was good. Our tour guide, Ward, also arranged for us to take a helicopter tour. The Polar Bear International researcher who accompanied us on the Tundra Buggy educated us so much about the interdependency of the plants and animals in the ecosystem. Our Tundra Buggy driver, Jim, was the very best!

Very easy to use - clear commentary …. All my questions answered as I strolled along
Only criticism - pronunciation of ‘kilometres’ which should rhyme with ‘pillowbeater’ …….
Will take another tour if it warms up again during my visit.

Had to go to attend a funeral. Stayed at an AIRBNB. Airport is slick! Easy in and easy out. Very few airports are this easy to fly in and out of.

I was looking forward to this self-guided tour, but it has not worked. I downloaded the app, but it did not accept the code. I called for assistance and was told that “sometimes the wrong link is sent.” I was promised that a correct link would be texted to me within two minutes. Hours later, it has not arrived. The link to cancel did not work.
