The Kucera Legacy Center is “scheduled to be open” for the first football game of the season Aug. 31Air Force
The new east side of the Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium will be named the Kucera Legacy Center after the family that “led donation efforts for the construction,” according to Brent Briggeman of the Colorado Springs GAZETTE. The Kucera family’s gift of $10M spearheaded the $90M project. The east side will feature “club seating, a full kitchen that will service the stadium, a year-round Falcons team shop, an area to host recruits and a large central room that will allow for banquets, weddings, reunions and corporate events.” The center is “scheduled to be open” for the first football game of the season Aug. 31 against Merrimack College with a ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Sept. 6 for the Kucera Legacy Center (Colorado Springs GAZETTE, 7/8).
