Cosm has signed an agreement with Fox Sports to show upcoming Copa América matches in its recently opened shared reality venue in Los Angeles. Tickets to view the tournament’s third-place match (July 13) and final (July 14) are now on sale in the company’s mobile app. Tickets start at $22 for a general attendance pass and packages go as high as $77 per seat in the second level of the venue’s dome.

Cosm’s 65,000-square-foot LA venue, which neighbors SoFi Stadium in Hollywood Park, opened with a private showing of UFC 303 on June 29. The Copa América third-place match will mark the second ticketed sports event at the site, following a USWNT friendly against Mexico earlier that day.

Tickets to view that friendly and another USWNT friendly (vs. Costa Rica) on July 16 also went on sale Friday. Cosm partnered with TNT Sports in October for rights to show US Soccer matches.

Cosm’s venues – another is scheduled to open in Dallas later this year – are curved LED domes where games are shown in 12K+ resolution video and augmented by spatial audio, simulating a front-row viewing environment. The venues will also feature communal hall spaces akin to a sports bar outside the dome.

Terms of the Fox deal were not disclosed. Cosm now has agreements in place to show a variety of sports in its venues, including deals directly with the UFC and NBA, and networks ESPN, NBC and TNT Sports that span several areas of programming. Cosm has already listed tickets on sale for UFC 304 in late July and listed showings of Premier League matches, US Open tennis matches and college football games in August (with on-sale dates for the latter three TBD).
