Baylor will begin an “eight-figure project to enhance elements” of McLane Stadium that includes the “installation of upgraded and additional video boards, the construction of new production control rooms, and the addition of premium hospitality structure that will be visible during the 2024 Baylor football season,” according to Foster Nicholas of 247SPORTS. The main video board display will be "updated" for the first time since the stadium's construction in 2014 and there will be a “new video board added to the back of the main board” which can be “seen from outside the stadium on game days right outside the South Plaza.” Nicholas noted the stadium will also “include a premium hospitality clubhouse thanks to Playfly Sports along the south end zone.” The clubhouse will “not replace the Berm, but instead limit the area as it gets upgraded to a premium location.” Additional enhancements come in production control rooms that will “allow Baylor to produce multiple broadcasts at one time and fully centralize operations on site.” Daktronics is “providing seven new LED displays” on top of the addition of a “new auxiliary video display on the north end of the stadium, two ribbon displays and two field-level displays” (247SPORTS.com, 7/3).
