NBC Sports taps Phillips to run digital, emerging biz

NBC Sports expanded Damon Phillips' role, putting the longtime executive in charge of digital and emerging businesses, in addition to keeping oversight of the company’s diversity and inclusion efforts and strategic initiatives. Phillips' new title is SVP/NBC Sports Digital and Emerging Business and he will continue reporting to NBC Sports President Rick Cordella. Phillips, an SBJ Forty Under 40 selection in 2010, now will oversee NBCSports.com, sports betting, fantasy sports, NBC Sports Audio, NBC Sports’ podcast network and college NIL.
