Yoga as a mode of therapy (Yoga Chikitsa) has become extremely popular and a great number of studies and systematic reviews offer scientific evidence of its potential in treating a wide range of psychosomatic conditions. Yoga understands health and well-being as a dynamic continuum of human nature and not merely a ‘state’ to be reached and maintained. Yoga helps the individual to establish sukha sthanam which may be defined as a dynamic sense of physical mental and spiritual well-being. .

The aim of this collection is to stimulate and motivate Yoga enthusiasts and medical professionals alike to make an effort towards understanding the great depth and wide scope of Yoga chikitsa the application of Yoga as an integrative mode of therapy.
The need of the hour is for a symbiotic relationship between Yoga and modern science. To satisfy this need living human bridges combining the best of both worlds need to be cultivated. It is important that more dedicated scientists take up Yoga and that more Yogis study science so that we can build a bridge between these two great evolutionary aspects of our civilization. This book reiterates the concept that Yoga is all about becoming "one" with an integrated state of being and that the modern tendency of Yogopathy in contrast is more about "doing" than "being".

They hold space for their students to feel safe and supported in the experience of being fully present. Truly wonderful teachers make their yoga classes into a sacred space. (Are you wondering about 'Holding Space': What Does It Mean? 26.4. Excellent communication
It doesn’t matter how abundant the teacher’s expertise, or how great their passion for yoga if they are not able to share this effectively with their students. Teachers need to be able to give instructions so clear and positive that students can immerse themselves fully in their practice. When the communication is good, students can look within, without the distraction of trying to work out what they are meant to be doing or whether they are doing it right.
Connection and intuition. There is real skill in working out what students need for their highest good. Great yoga teachers have the ability to meet their students where they are and guide them forward with warmth and compassion. The best yoga teachers will know that students need different types of teaching at different times -- sometimes supporting, educating or challenging -- and they are able to tune into and accommodate those needs. Yoga classes should always leave students in a better place than where they were found.

Bandhas(neuro-muscular locks)
6.1. Introduction to Bandha
The Sanskrit word bandha means to 'hold', 'tighten' or 'lock'.
These definitions precisely describe the physical action involved in the bandha practices and their effect on the pranic body. The bandhas aim to lock the pranas in particular areas and redirect their flow into sushumna nadi for the purpose of spiritual awakening.
Bandhas should first be practiced and mastered individually.
Only then can they be beneficially incorporated with Mudra and pranayama practices.
When combined in this way, they awaken the psychic faculties and form an adjunct to higher yogic practices.
However, it is important to observe the contraindications.
6.2. Granthis
The last of these is a combination of the first three.
These three bandhas act directly on the three granthis or psychic knots.
Moola bandha is associated with brahma granthi, uddiyana bandha with vishnu granthi and jalandhara bandha with rudra granthi.
The granthis prevent the free flow of prana along sushumna nadi and thus impede the awakening of the chakras and the rising of kundalini.

Abstract
Eggs, a staple food consumed globally, are at risk of contamination, posing a severe threat to their safety and quality. The bacterial load on the eggshell surface is crucial in predicting bacterial penetration and egg interior contamination. Exposure to nesting material and faecal matter can introduce egg-borne pathogens, some of which can lead to food-borne illnesses. The global scale of epidemics caused by egg-borne pathogens underscores the criticality of egg safety. A comprehensive study was conducted in Punjab, Pakistan, to assess the potential risk of contamination. A total of 360 eggs from various breeds of hens were tested and categorized as unclean, soiled and clean. The bacteria Salmonella, Proteus and Staphylococcus were isolated from the eggs. The highest percentage of isolates were found in unclean eggs: Salmonella (26.7%), Proteus (24.5%) and Staphylococcus (33%). In soiled eggs, the highest percentage of isolates were Salmonella (22.6%), Proteus (17.6%) and Staphylococcus (10.9%). In cleaned eggs, Proteus showed the highest prevalence (15.5%), followed by Salmonella (10.3%) and Staphylococcus (9.4%). The antibiotic susceptibility test (AST) results showed that all bacterial isolates were sensitive to the drugs Ofloxacin (5 µg/ml) and Cefotaxime (30 µg/ml). However, Staphylococcus and Proteus also showed sensitivity to Trimethoprim + Sulphamethoxazole (2.25/23.75 µg/ml). The study aimed not only to raise awareness about the importance of egg safety and identify the most common pathogens found on eggshells but also to develop effective strategies to reduce the risk of contamination of eggs and egg products. Once implemented, these strategies will ensure the safety and quality of this essential food source, offering a promising solution to the current challenges.

Our goal is to help you master the art of SOAP note writing, ensuring your documentation is thorough, accurate, and effective.
Understanding SOAP Notes
SOAP stands for Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. This structured method of documentation is used widely in healthcare settings to ensure consistent and clear communication among healthcare providers. Each component of a SOAP note serves a specific purpose:
Subjective (S):
This section captures the patient's narrative, including their chief complaint, history of present illness (HPI), past medical history (PMH), family history (FH), social history (SH), and review of systems (ROS). It reflects the patient's perspective and is crucial for understanding their condition and concerns.
Objective (O):
The objective section includes measurable and observable data collected during the physical examination and diagnostic tests. This might involve vital signs, laboratory results, imaging studies, and physical exam findings. Objectivity is key to providing a factual basis for the assessment.
Assessment (A):
In the assessment section, the healthcare provider synthesizes the subjective and objective data to formulate a diagnosis or differential diagnoses. This analysis helps in understanding the patient's condition and guiding the treatment plan.
Plan (P):
The plan outlines the course of action, including treatment strategies, medications, diagnostic tests, patient education, and follow-up appointments. It provides a roadmap for managing the patient's condition and achieving desired health outcomes.

VENEERS: YOUR SMILE'S BEST KEPT SECRET.pptxSatvikaPrasad
Veneers are a transformative dental solution that offers a seamless blend of aesthetics and functionality, making them a popular choice for enhancing smiles. These thin, custom-fabricated laminates are primarily constructed from either high-grade porcelain or composite resin materials, both selected for their superior aesthetic and functional properties. Veneers are meticulously bonded to the labial surfaces of anterior teeth, providing a definitive solution for a variety of dental conditions, including intrinsic discoloration, enamel defects, minor malalignments, diastemas, and structural deficiencies such as chips or fractures. The preparation for veneer placement typically involves minimal reduction of the tooth structure, preserving the maximum amount of healthy tooth while allowing for optimal adhesive bonding. This conservative approach is pivotal in maintaining tooth vitality and structural integrity. The precise customization and application of veneers require a thorough understanding of dental materials, occlusion, and esthetic principles, underscoring their role as a sophisticated and effective treatment modality in contemporary prosthodontic practice.
