Volunteers at the 21st annual Relay for Life of Middle Village placed candles around the track at Juniper Valley Park last Saturday.
Each candle, which was lighted after dusk, was in a bag with the name of a cancer patient, survivor or someone who has been lost. Organizers’ goal is to rise $100,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society once all donations are collected.
