Struggling with mental health, relationship problems, parenting issues, trauma, chronic pain, daily stressors, and adjustments in life can be difficult causing anxiety, sadness, isolation, and loss of hope. I understand that people’s lives are busy and that mental health problems cause significant barriers within relationships, socialization, education, and employment. In my practice, I focus on using evidence-based treatment to help you along in leading an emotionally enriched and mentally harmonious life.

My clients typically seek therapy due to exposure to adverse experiences at some point in their lifetime. As a clinician, I understand adverse experiences are subjective to each individual. This is why I tailor my therapeutic approach depending on each individuals' needs and concerns.

Dr. Scott is committed to facilitating the healing, recovery and integration of motivated, proactive clients who are interested in approaching their behavioral health from an eclectic and multi-disciplinary approach. He uses many traditional and non-traditional techniques that are described below. His commitment is to start where the client is and assist them in the process of self-discovery, mastery and holistic wellness. Sessions are from 50 minutes to 5 hours and treatment plans are specifically customized to each individual and family. Typical treatment duration lasts from a few sessions to several years.

I am a seasoned therapist who has had extensive experience with divorce, separation and grief. I am particularly sensitive to the issues surrounding aging including; loss, loneliness, depression and changing life patterns. In that regard, I am a Medicare provider. I have had a practice for 20 years in Las Vegas and have just returned back to town after being away for a number of years. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a doctorate in psychology.
