As a psychotherapist, I enjoy helping clients implement positive change in their lives, whether it's overcoming trauma, decreasing anxiety or depression, finding new meaning after the loss of a loved one, or making a much needed career change. I believe the purpose of therapy is to enable personal growth that leads to the best version of yourself, and I would be honored to join you on your journey to improved well-being.
I work from a humanistic framework and believe in the importance of exploring how you can find meaning and increase well-being in your life. I am also partially trained in EMDR to help address trauma. My previous experiences includes alcohol and drug abuse treatment, residential and community behavioral health, group psychotherapy, and individual counseling.
I am currently accepting individual clients for tele-health sessions and group clients for in-person sessions. I understand how difficult it can be finding a therapist who is a good fit. Welcoming adults of all backgrounds for an in-person grief support group to assist each other and process the loss of loved ones. Accepting Highmark, UPMC, United, medical assistance, and sliding scale self-pay for 8 weekly meetings starting June 27th, 2024.
