Hello and Welcome. I currently have Friday and Saturday appointments available. There are any number of reasons why someone seeks help from a psychotherapist. These starting points are unique to each person. Yet there is often an awareness that a remedy of some kind is needed. This realization may not make securing support any easier. Talking to someone about your concerns, thoughts and feelings can be helpful. I strive to listen attentively and share my thoughts simply.
I work analytically with adults and adolescents. I think about conscious and unconscious communications to broaden awareness and understanding and to learn more about the impact of these dynamics on development and relationships. I have a special interest in working with issues related to anxiety, depression and PTSD.
As a collaborative dialogue the therapeutic relationship invites you to explore your own experience. As a resource, the therapeutic relationship can expand your emotional depth, activate an interest in yourself and others, motivate the drive to carve out our own path and animate the imagination to create your own story.
