Consent is everything: mandatory workshops

Our NTU community is built on trust, respect, and a sense of doing the right thing. In 2020 we explored what we could do to improve the culture at NTU. Our students recommended we offer consent workshops for all new students, so we did.

Since the beginning of the programme, we have delivered over 800 workshops to over 17,000 first year students. From October 2024, every first year undergraduate student will have a consent workshop scheduled into their timetable in either Term One or Term Two.
