we haven’t used soothers yet, but all my friends do, so wanted to see if they would really help with a crying baby!

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

I liked how easy to clean it was. The baby enjoyed the sucking motion 😅

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

yes, but not sure about the high price point of this product

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes, but again with a caveat about the price

  1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

A good product, a nice and practical design, easy to keep clean, and easy to find at bedtime with the glow in the dark feature.

  2. Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try a different type of Mam soother than we normally use, the soother was used for bedtime and naps as well as comfort when required.

  3. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

I like that the soother is orthodontic, and glows in the dark. My baby liked the shape of the soother, and it was easy for them to hold.

  4. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes - my child likes a soother for bedtime and naps, Mam would be my first choice for this especially at bedtime as the soother glowed in the dark making it easier to find.

  5. Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes, Mam is my first choice for soothers and bottles. I do prefer the air flow style soothers, but would still use the silicone night soothers for bedtime.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

  • Perfect Soother 12-18 months, pink. Good first impressions, I like the handy little case that they come in. Soothers feel good quality, lightweight and pretty designs.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
  • Always been a fan of Mam soothers but my little one wasn’t keen on the next size up of the ones we had been using. She seems to like these, they seem smaller and more lightweight. We use the soothers for sleep and car journeys.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
  • I like the design of this soother, the holes give plenty of space for the skin to breathe underneath the plastic. I also love that these soothers don’t have the little handles on them which usually just get lots of dirt trapped in the hinges. Easy to clean!

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
  • Yes definitely, I’ve already purchased another pack of this particular design.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
  • yes; I always recommend Mam products to other parents if using soothers or bottles.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it? MAM night soother original 12 months. Great lightweight design and easy to find during the night as it glows.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for? My son is attached to cherry teat soothers, although I know no dummy is “good” for the teeth I believe a flatter design of dummy may slightly delay the damage that can be caused by dummy’s. Not only did he use it during the night, he chose to use it through the day.

What did you and your baby like most about the
soother that you tested? The ease of finding it throughout the night (for both of us). Was also nice to see a new design on a dummy, the brand we had currently being using had not updated their colours and designs in a very long time.

Would you use soothers again based on the
product that you tested. If so, why? Yes, I didn’t believe he would take to them so quickly after using a cherry teat for the most part of 18 months, he took to it straight away and I have already replaced some of his cherry teats with MAM.

Would you recommend this soother to other
parents? Of course.

some pictures below of my boy with his new MAM dummy’s.

  1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
We tested the Air Soother. First impressions were that it was quite different in shape to the MAM night soothers we've used previously but well made. The openness of the soother looked good for air flow.

  2. Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
We've used the night soothers since about 3 months. Our baby uses them for naps and at night, sometimes for comfort during the day. I was keen to try the air ones as I wondered whether they'd provide more air flow to the skin around the mouth, particularly when it's sore from eczema or during teething dribbly periods.

  3. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
The baby didn't initially like the air soother at all, and kept taking it out and requesting a normal night one they were used to. I initially didn't really like the appearance of the air soother in the mouth and how much of the mouth I could when it was used.
After a few uses the baby got used to it and likes it, but definitely plays with it more than the other night ones, taking it out more often. The baby also often sticks fingers through the hole in the soother which is slightly worrying that the fingers might get stuck.

  4. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
I would use it, particularly if the skin around the mouth was sore, but I don't think I prefer it to the night ones which seem safer for naps and less of a distraction to my baby (as they're less fun to play with, and easier to find in the dark due to the glow in the dark).

  5. Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
We really like MAM soothers and would recommend the brand, but I wouldn't recommend the air soothers as a first choice.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

We used the UNISEX NIGHT SOOTHER 6-12M

my baby really likes these dummies, he has used them since a newborn. I like the shape of the teat, the design is also aesthetically pleasing.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try the next size as my baby was ready for the next size soother in the mam range.

My baby uses soothers only for going to sleep, he struggles to sleep without one.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

My baby liked the continuity of using the same brand but in a bigger size. I am a fan of mam products we use the bottles also so I was pleased to see the brand had dummies as well.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes we won’t use any other brand of dummies
Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
Yes. My baby won’t use any others.

1.Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
Perfect soother 2-18 months. I liked the design of the soother and the shape of the teat I also liked how it came in it’s own little carry case

2.Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
I wanted her to try a different soother as the one she uses is quite big and makes her dribble a lot. We used the soother for bedtimes and nap times

3.What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
The design is cute and there not as big as her other one. The teat is a lovely shape and she loves it

4.Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes we would use the soothers again as she liked them and we couldn’t go anywhere without them. I also liked how they came in there own little carry case so you don’t have to look everywhere for them.

5.Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
Yes definitely as they are a lovely shape and the design is cute.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

We tested the Original Night silicon soother. First impressions was that the design was very pretty and girly, which I don't always like, but did on this occasion. My daughter grabbed one immediately, although she chewed on the hard plastic side of it!

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

We've never used soothers previously but as the baby is now 14 months and still waking every 2 hours to breastfeed, I wondered if it was worth trying one out to see if she'd take it to suck for comfort as she shouldn't need as many calories from milk anymore and I'm getting a bit tired from all the wake ups.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

Unfortunately the baby didn't want to use the soother as I had intended. She liked chewing the hard plastic side which I think was soothing when she was teething. She also liked trying to give it to her doll as she's seen other babies using soothers in nursery. Unfortunately it wasn't used as intended though.

From my POV, I liked that it glowed in the dark and can see that would have been a useful feature had she wanted to use it.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

No, because she didn't use it as a soother, but this isn't a reflection on the product which I thought was good.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes, if my opinion matters given that I don't use soothers. I'd recommend that the nipple shape is good for breastfed babies and that the glow in the dark feature would make it easier to retrieve it at night.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to test! I'm really sorry to not have more detailed feedback based on our experiences.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Air 6+ months, I love this soother, it’s new to the range since my first child and I love the size, nice and big, no problems at all with dribble

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try as it was a new product since we last used Soothers 2 years ago. I started using with this child to help him back to sleep. We mainly use for sleeping only. Occasionally in the pram but he doesn’t like this so much

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

Size, big open sides

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Definitely, I have already bought another pack and one for 12+ I really like these, mam are the only brand I use anyway but these and the night range are my go to’s

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Definitely and I have

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it? Mam Air 6-12 months. I liked that it was a flat bulb and lightweight for in baby's mouth

Why did you want to try out the soother?

We use mam bottles and have tried a few kinds of soothers without much success in the past

What did you and your baby use the soother for?

Soothing for nap times

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

It was lightweight and felt ergonomic for my baby. He enjoyed using it and seemed to like the openness of it

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Not with this baby, he was a bit ambivalent but probably due to not really having used dummies previously. Probably would for other babies.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
Night Soother, I liked the design and the pictures on the dummy.
Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
Just for sleep, I am worried that his teeth may become misaligned with the use of a dummy but he's too young to understand why I'm taking it away from him if I try to give them up now! So I was interested to use the MAM ones as they claim to be better for baby orthodontically.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
That it was very glow in the dark! I have Tommee Tippee glow in the dark dummies also but the MAM ones were brighter and glowed for longer so easier for him to find himself in the night.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes, we have used soothers since birth anyway.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
Yes if they were a fair price.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Blue perfect soothers 6-12 months. Lovely design. Looked nice and thin.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try the soother as my baby was due to size up. My baby loves a soother for comfort and settling to sleep.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

Love the sterilising case they come with. It’s so handy. Literally sterilise them in the case and then they stay sterile until used. Also loved how soft and thin they are.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Absolutely, wouldnt use another brand. These are by far the best. The sterilising case tops it for me.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes would always recommend MAM soothers.

Thank you!

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
I tested the original silicone night soother (12m+). The soothers appeared to have a good ergonomic shape for fitting into, and staying in, my DD's mouth. She enjoyed looking at the heart and star designs on the front of the soothers, and thought it was hilarious to use the glow in the dark feature to find them in a dark room.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
My DD had used a soother until she was 8 months old and found it very soothing. She is now teething again, so I thought that sucking or biting down on a soother might ease her discomfort.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
We liked most that they glowed in the dark, as this makes locating them very easy. Other features that we liked were the patterns and the shape of them. I also liked that they came with a sterlising box and were easy to sterilise

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
If I had another child then I definitely would. My DD would not take them, but I think that's because it's been so many months since she last had a soother, so I think she is generally done with soothers.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
I would, I think they would be very effective for another child.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Comfort Soother. Firstly, the packaging was an improvement - far easier to get into than the ones we’ve had before. Loved the moulded design of the dummy itself - far easier to clean with no soapy water getting trapped inside the teat itself. I also liked the fact that the entire soother was flexible as it could be chewed without hurting gums.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

i used Mam soothers with my first baby and really got on with them. This time round we used soothers early on as baby liked to comfort suck and I was keen to try out other types of Mam soother.

we used the soother for naps/bedtime and during the night. Also for car journeys.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

He liked the teat size and shape, which was slightly more compact than the 0+ size we’d used. Also the softer, flexible body which seemed more comfortable against his skin and was nice to chew!

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

definitely. He is comforted by sucking and it helped calm him if he was fussing in the car seat and to get him to sleep.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes, really glad we tried this as it’s made me more inclined to try different soother types. Id recommend it because of its softer, flexible design.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

Comfort soother 2-6 months

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try the soother as the previous soother we had been using baby kept pulling out his mouth. We use soothers to help baby fall asleep.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

I liked the neutral colour, and that there were no indents left on the face after use.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

yes I would use again as it’s a nice design and baby liked it.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

yes if other parents were in the market for a soother I would recommend. I really liked the fact this soother didn’t have the ‘ring’ handle type. My baby would always pull soothers out using the ring.

  1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

We tested Mam Comfort 2-6 months. Initial impressions were that the material feels like very good quality silicone which is soft to the touch. However, it took a little while to get used to the see-through holder which allows you to see partially into the babies mouth and the 'O' shape of her lips latched on to the dummy teat. We got used to this after the first day or two.

  1. Why did you want to try out the soother?

We have other Mam products (dummies and bottles) and wanted to try out this new one out as I've been impressed with the other products we've tried so far.

  1. What did you and your baby use the soother for?

We've used this soother for a number of reasons over the past few weeks including; soothing following injections, passifying whilst waiting for her bottles to heat or cool down, and to calm during fussy periods over the night-time.

  1. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

The material it's made of is super soft and flexible as a result its very gentle on her skin. It leaves no red marks around her mouth like plastic surround dummies cab.

  1. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Absolutely! My baby loved her dummy and accepted the teat design after two tries. It works very well to soothe her and is gentle on her skin.

  1. Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Absolutely, I would recommend it to other parents.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
Air soother. Really nice design, great handy box for storage on the go and sterilisation.

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
Have used MAM soothers previously and baby loved them. Baby stopped taking them but sucks on clothes and sleeping bags etc so wanted to see whether she would take one at night again.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
Unfortunately she would not take the soother, and still continues to use everything else but a soother! With previous MAM soothers which she used up until 4 months I loved the designs and that they fitted her mouth nicely and weren't too chunky as she has a small mouth. They were the only ones my baby would take.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes, baby number 2 on the way and will be buying newborn MAM soothers again.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
Yes. I love MAM products, even though my first baby is now 14 months we still use their bottles and the sippy cup. I love their designs and how easy they are to clean and sterilise.

Thanks for the opportunity for testing.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
Original night soother 6+

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
little one is 8 months and currently using the under 6 months night soothers, and didn’t take to a nuby 6+ soother we got. We use the soother mainly for naps and sleeping or if she just needs to calm down it seems to help.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
sadly she didn’t take to it, she’s small so I think the teat is just too big for her mouth.
I like the sterilising box, the glow in the dark feature is great but could last longer

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
I’ll keep trying then with her in the hopes of when she is older she will take to them. She has only MAM soothers so far.

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
I can’t 100% vouch for these ones but other MAM soothers have been a hit with her so I probably would.

  1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

    Air soother 6 month+

Nice designs, seem well made and similar shape to MAM bottles which my baby likes. Handy little case.

  2. Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

My baby is breastfed and likes to suck but hasn't taken to a soother so far which would make life a little easier for me, especially when someone else is going to do bedtime and I'm not there for comfort feeding.

  3. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

The shape was similar to the bottles that she likes and they are nice looking.

  4. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

If baby would accept a soother then absolutely, unfortunately despite the familiar shape and design she was still not convinced to use it!

  5. Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

Yes, although they are slightly on the expensive side.

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
We tested the comfort soother (2-6 months). I loved the unisex colour. I thought the thin design of the teat looked good in terms of enabling healthy growth of first teeth

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
I wanted to try the soother as my baby has not yet tried any soothers from any brands. I like the MAM brand in general so this was a brand I was eager to try soothers from. I wanted try soothers to see whether this would comfort him when going down for naps.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
I liked the slim teat and the unisex colour the soother came in, and the overall flat design of the mouthguard, aswell as it being soft and flexible. I thought it was really convenient to be able to sterilise the soothers in the box using the microwave.
Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
My baby did not take to using a soother. I may try again in the future and I do intend to use MAM soothers if I do, due to the positive impression they gave me
Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
If their baby will take a soother, I think this is a good soother - the flexibility of it seems comfortable for baby, the

I tested the UNISEX AIR SOOTHER 12-18M

2.Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

Aura is teething and also had a cold due to teething and anything that gives her comfort whilst teething makes me feel more at ease.

3.What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

This soother helped her breathe more easily whilst sucking it as it was not covering her airways like most other soothers.? I found she was more settled whilst sucking this soother.

4.Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Yes I would use this soother again as she didn't spit this one out as much as other soothers I have used.

Yes

  1. Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?
Original Silicone Night Soother (2 to 18 months. I liked the design and the pictures on the front of the soothers, thought they were cute. I liked the fact that the packaging box could be used to sterilise the dummies and I was looking forward to using the glow in the dark feature.

  2. Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?
I wanted to try the soother as I use soothers when trying to get ds 9 months to go back to sleep in his cot without having to give him milk every time. I used it a during the night time.

  3. What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?
I liked the glow in the dark feature as this enabled me to quickly find the soother and give it back to ds without needing to turn on the lights or try to feel around blindly in the dark. I liked the box that the soothers came in that worked well for sterilising the soothers in the microwave when needed. I liked the design on the front and ds got on well with the shape of the teat. I was pleased they were orthodontist approved.

  4. Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?
Yes, definitely - for the reasons listed in question 3. They worked well for getting ds back to sleep most of the time .

  5. Would you recommend this soother to other parents?
    Yes

Which MAM soother did you test? What were your first impressions of it?

We tested the comfort soother (2-6months) - First impressions: I absolutely adore MAM dummies, the case they come in (which you can also use for sterilising) is so handy! I loved the colours (blue) as they were vibrant and really eye catching. I thought that they looked quite strange at first - as the teat is 'exposed' from the outside when baby is sucking it, meaning you can see into their mouths!

Why did you want to try out the soother? What did you and your baby use the soother for?

I wanted to try it, as we use a lot of MAM products (bottles, dummies, dummy clips, etc) and I wanted to try another product of theirs that I haven't used yet. There are 2 soothers included in the pack and we ended up using 1 for night time and the other for day time at home when needed (dummies are usually the only thing that will settle Alfie other than his own thumbs!) - we now have one of them everywhere we go as he settles so fast using them.

What did you and your baby like most about the soother that you tested?

I loved the colours, vibrant blue so they are really eye catching! The teat feels really soft too which I think is why Alfie now prefers these over his other dummies. I also loved the convenience of the sterilisation box, just add some water and pop in the microwave and they're sterilised!! I think Alfie loved the open teat (I'm not sure what it's called but, the teat/mouth is exposed with this one!) - he tends to stick his thumb into this part, he's a self soother and tends to suck his thumbs a lot, but he seems really happy with these dummies.

Would you use soothers again based on the product that you tested. If so, why?

Definitely! Although they look a little odd compared to other dummies, Alfie absolutely loves them and settles fast with them - with other dummies he kept grabbing the plastic bit on the front and pulling his dummy out and upsetting himself, with this on he puts his thumb into the open part and the dummy stays in! It's a win win!

Would you recommend this soother to other parents?

100%. I don't go anywhere without them. The only thing I would say, is they need cleaning inside of the teat too and bits of dust/whatever baby gets their hands on can get stuck inside. I just use cotton buds to poke into them to get it out, but the comfort of Alfie outweighs everything and he loves them.
