Hi I need some inspiration!

7 weeks to go and no further forward with names 🙈.

Baby girls surname will be Kilpatrick and we both have one Irish parent so want an Irish first name but really struggling to find something that we love.

Any suggestions welcome!

I have a Sadhbh, which I still love.

I found picking a girl’s name hard, as all the lovely ones are very common like Aoife, Ciara and Orla, and the more infrequently used were like... Gobnait.

Thanks for all your suggestions so far everyone. There’s a few in there that I like I’m just hoping it really is as everyone says and when you see them for the first time you just know 😂 being a bit optimistic I know! @tiredanddangerous Orlaith is my favourite too but my brother already swooped in and stole it for my gorgeous niece!

Maeve (or Meabh etc) is my favourite. I also really like Sadbh as previously mentioned. Others I don't think have been mentioned: Caitriona, Iseult, Eimear, Alva.

I have a one-year-old Niamh, we've never had anyone not know how to pronounce it, which has been a pleasant surprise.

I also love Aisling, Róisín and Ailis. And maybe Mairead.
