What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day (or days, to be more accurate) is a two-day sales event hosted on Amazon exclusively for Prime members, and has been an annual event for the retailer since 2015. Prime Day last year was on 11th and 12th July, with a second Prime Day in 2023 called 'Prime Big Deal Days' in October.
From gadgets and electronics to fashion, beauty, home goods, and beyond, previous Prime Days have had it all, and you can expect to snap up some excellent savings when the official deals begin.
Just remember to keep your eyes peeled for those lightning deals, too, as they pop up and disappear in a flash – they're the sneaky ones and only run for a limited time period.
When is Amazon Prime Day sale in 2024?
Mark your calendars for 16th and 17th of July because the first Prime Day event of 2024 is across those two days, giving you a chance to snap up some of the biggest and best deals.

Do I need Amazon Prime to shop the Prime sales?
You do need to be a Prime member to shop the Prime Day deals - you can sign up here. It costs £8.99 a month or, if you've not previously signed up, you can get a free trial for 30 days. Once you're a Prime member, you'll be able to access the sale.
One of the best perks of Prime for frequent shoppers is the free next day delivery offered on many products across Amazon (do double check though, as the delivery times may be slightly longer on some products and brands).
