Donatella Versace has brilliantly responded to Blue’s revelation that their band was accidentally flown out to one of the designer’s shows in Milan after being mistaken for Blur.

Italian fashion icon Donatella, 66, accidentally found herself entertaining the Blue boys at a Milan Fashion Week show.

Assistants to the fashion star accidentally mixed up the boy band – which stars Duncan James, Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan – with Park Life singers Blur.

Last week, Blue frontman Antony shared the revelation during a candid chat on Ben Hanlin's Ben Behaving Dadly podcast, and since then, it’s gone viral.

After the hilarious band blunder caught the attention of thousands of fans across the UK – it even got back to Donatella.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the Italian fashion star poked fun at the blunder as she shared a screenshot of the Daily Mail headline calling out the mix-up.

Alongside the snap, the cheeky star penned: “I’ve still not met Blur.”

It comes after Blue’s Antony dished the dirt on the hilarious mix-up.

Speaking on the podcast, he recalled: "So, we got invited to Milan Fashion Week, by Donatella Versace.

“So, we get a private plane out there, they flew us out there. We landed, went to the fashion show, and afterwards they were like 'Look, we want you to meet Donatella’.”

From Antony’s recollection, Donatella was less than impressed when she came to realise her favourite band, Blur, had turned up as Blue.

Antony went on: “So we lined up, like we were meeting the Queen, and she looked at us.

“I said to [Simon] Webbe, 'This is a bit weird; we're supposed to be one of the guests. Why wouldn't she want to say hello?'

"Anyway, to cut a long story short, when we get back to London, and she had invited Blur and not Blue."
