FLN named Aly Oakley of BrakeQuip LLC--Sales, as the network's newest spotlight member! The best career advice that Aly has ever received is to learn to rest, not quit. "It's good to work hard, but you cannot pour from an empty cup, so be sure to take care of yourself," said Aly. "Give your mind and body the rest it requires, and you can meet your goals more successfully." If Aly could go to lunch with one industry leader, she would choose Susie Wolff for her working knowledge of the motorsports industry, operations and women in motorsports; Not to mention Susie's groundbreaking Formula 1 Academy that Aly is proud to witness in her lifetime. FLN named Tara Demuth, administrative director of R&S Truck Caps and Truck Accessories, as the network's newest spotlight member! Tara works in her family's business so the automotive industry has always been in her life in some shape or form. She enjoys exploring the variety of products available and the creativity in customizing vehicles to fit people’s lifestyles. To Tara, the beauty of advice is that it can be gathered and you can reference what you need when you need it. One of her favorites is: don’t be afraid to explore. In 2019, Tara took a culinary adventure to Italy by herself. It was one of the best experiences she's ever had. "Don’t give yourself time to second-guess a decision to explore," said Tara. "Exploration could be a destination, but it could also be opening up to a new idea." Read more about Tara in SEMA News: https://bit.ly/4efWITu
