FLN named Tara Demuth, administrative director of R&S Truck Caps and Truck Accessories, as the network's newest spotlight member! Tara works in her family's business so the automotive industry has always been in her life in some shape or form. She enjoys exploring the variety of products available and the creativity in customizing vehicles to fit people’s lifestyles. To Tara, the beauty of advice is that it can be gathered and you can reference what you need when you need it. One of her favorites is: don’t be afraid to explore. In 2019, Tara took a culinary adventure to Italy by herself. It was one of the best experiences she's ever had. "Don’t give yourself time to second-guess a decision to explore," said Tara. "Exploration could be a destination, but it could also be opening up to a new idea." Read more about Tara in SEMA News: https://bit.ly/4efWITu

World Class Service - By Todd Hayes, COO, Adams Automotive In my 64 years, I've realized that while crafting a professional image is crucial, it should not overshadow the essence of leading a meaningful life. It's essential to merge – or, if you will, integrate – our personal and professional selves seamlessly. This doesn't mean losing ourselves in work, but rather finding work that feels so rewarding, it's inseparable from our life's purpose. Here at Adams Automotive, we see business as more than transactions; we view it as a sport, an exhilarating game where passion, dedication, and innovation play central roles. This perspective transforms our work into something we yearn for, even in our absence. It's a blend of excitement and commitment, driving us beyond the conventional boundaries of work-life balance. We encourage not just cohabitation in the business sense – sharing spaces, ideas, and goals – but also the true amalgamation of our professional endeavors with our personal aspirations. This approach leads to a more holistic, fulfilling life experience. Remember, in "The Great Game of Business," as I like to call it, success comes from assembling a team where every member is passionate, organized, and deeply integrated into the shared vision. At Adams Automotive, we don't just offer services; we deliver experiences woven with excellence, commitment, and a profound sense of community. Let's redefine success together, merging our lives with our work in a way that fulfills not just our financial needs, but our deeper aspirations.

𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬‼️ This is a picture of my grandfather and myself from this weekend that got captured… disregard the crocs and gut, I had just ate some killer steak fajitas 😂 But my pawpaw has bought the same Chevy truck from the same dealership for the last 40+ years. Every couple years he goes and trades in for a newer model. He never goes and looks anywhere else for better pricing or to try to get a better deal, he goes to Lynn Layton Chevrolet Service in Decatur, AL because of the relationship. Lynn Layton took care of my grandpa years ago when he was working in the GM factory and ever since then my grandfather won’t buy a vehicle from anyone else. So this weekend when I was in town he was telling me about going and getting new tires from them and it made me think about how they got a lifetime customer but how?? They simply created a relationship that was reliable, easy, and consistent! I want our customers at RJ Young to be lifelong customers, not just because of pricing but because of relationships! I want them to know we have their back and the best interest of their business! We aren’t perfect but we strive to be reliable, easy to work with, and consistent day in and out! Our company culture is based on 5 key things: - 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 - 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 - 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 - 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 - 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 #RJY #RJyoung #CustomerService #Relationships #Business

Business lessons learned while buying a car... Unfortunately and fortunately, I had the opportunity to purchase a new car over the weekend. These are the relatable moments I gleaned from it. * Take your time and find what you want * Don't settle for "close enough" * Articulate your needs * Never accept the first offer * Relax and enjoy the ride * Be willing to walk away if your needs aren't being met * Things always take longer than you expect them to Buying a vehicle because you have to is a lot different than buying one because you want to. That is no different than moving your business forward because you want to vs you are forced to keep up. Be a trendsetter and a market leader. #keepmovingforward #evolveyourself #growthstrategy #relax #lifeisgood

Commercial Manager at M2 Overland | Building Strong Partnership Networks to provide better standards of Customer Service & Experiences.
As I sat at the traffic lights today (disclaimer: my light was red light and stationary), a vehicle passed by that triggered a pivotal memory in my career journey. It reminded me of the moment I decided to explore M2 Overland after they successfully secured a business I had been pitching for - Makita New Zealand. Naturally, I asked the client why they chose this relatively unknown company, at least in my commercial market, and the answer stuck to me like glue. What truly impressed me about M2 Overland was their deep commitment to listening - not just to the clients directly, but also to individuals like myself who serve as the critical link between the client and the business. They value insights into client's needs and actively use them to inform their internal decision making processes. This methodical and mature approach allows M2 to create tailored solutions that can be presented to prospective clients, addressing their specific requirements - a level of responsiveness I hadn't experienced before. At M2 Overland, our ethos revolves around nurturing authentic, long-term partnerships with carefully chosen organizations and individuals. We place a premium on understanding our clients deeply, dedicating ourselves to excellence, maintaining transparent communication, and demonstrating integrity by taking accountability for our actions. One year into my journey with this company, I find myself collaborating with leading names in New Zealand's industries. Today's encounter with that vehicle only strengthens my pride in being part of M2 Overland - a company committed to establishing new industry standard’s and providing outstanding customer experiences. Thank you Makita!! #CareerJourney #Standards #CustomerExperience #Reflection

I share this story because it’s a great reminder of a company starting with their “WHY” At Sheboygan Auto Group, we believe in the power of uplifting stories that exemplify our core values. Recently, a single mother of three faced a daunting challenge when her vehicle gave out, disrupting her daily routine. Understanding that bad luck can visit anyone, we saw an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Our Why: We are driven by a profound belief in supporting individuals during their most challenging moments. We recognize that a reliable vehicle is not just about transport; it's a vital tool for stability and progress, especially for hardworking families like hers. Our How: Despite financial constraints and less-than-ideal credit, our Credit Acceptance Program became her saving grace. By offering tailored solutions and unwavering support, we ensured that her path to a better future remained unobstructed. Our What: Through our commitment to our "why," we didn't just provide a car; we offered a lifeline to this resilient mother. By finding a vehicle that suited her needs and budget, we empowered her to tackle each day with newfound confidence and reliability. In essence, our dedication to our purpose transformed a seemingly insurmountable obstacle into a tale of triumph and solidarity. With the right support, even the toughest roads can lead to brighter horizons. At Sheboygan Auto Group, we stand by our mission to make a positive impact, one “Why” at a time. Remember it’s not what you do, it’s how and why you do it that leaves the biggest impact. #SheboyganAutoGroup #EmpowerThroughSupport #TransformingChallengesIntoTriumphs

Helping Trucking Companies Find & Hire Quality Truck Drivers Online to Minimize Turnover. Family Man l Auto Hauler l Mentor
Want a chance to win a brand new car? I'm sure you would, especially if it cost you nothing, right? Yesterday, I saw this brand new 2024 Cadillac in Toronto that GM is giving away and thought I would share with you how powerful it is. Everyone who passes by can scan the QR code to enter the contest. Disclaimer: I’m not here to promote GM but to share the purpose and why this is so effective that you could implement the same strategy in your business. These companies invest millions per year in marketing and advertising Why? To get the word out in the marketplace, build their brand and get more customers. They’re looking for people who are interested in their product. Obviously, not everyone will win but they captured hundreds if not thousands of peoples contact information to stay in touch and promote future offers. That’s the power of building a database of potential buyers How could you implement this strategy in your trucking business to attract Drivers? First, think of something you can give away for free that they’re interested in, in exchange for their contact information. Which is called reciprocity It could simply be a Truck GPS, CB radio or a product you provide etc You get the point Which enables you to grow a database of potential Drivers, build relationships and communicate for future openings. Keep these 3 things in mind. Offer value, grow your database, and most importantly follow-up. You would have more Drivers than you need for your company. If it make sense and you need help implementing this strategy to attract qualified Truck Drivers for your business Click the link in my bio here➡️ Elroy Whyte #recruiter #truckingcompany #owneroperator #marketingtips #recruitingtips #transportation
