#MINNESOTA #Infrastructure #Smallbusiness #startupBoom #Transportation ➡ I was in #Hopkins, MN with Chair of the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities Charlie Zelle to see firsthand how federal bi-partisan infrastructure investments under the Biden-Harris Administration ensure secure and affordable public systems that enable stronger #smallbusiness growth, good jobs creation, affordable housing through public transportation and walkable/bikeable transit. The dollars from the Federal Transit Administration are creating and expanding the downtown Hopkins Light Rail stop. It's only 80% completed but is already generating higher small business foot traffic, catalyzing good jobs, spurring affordable housing development, and creating a healthy built environment for community wellness and inclusive prosperity for diverse communities with a trail and path along the rail. 🍽 🏹Hopkins' economic growth is measurably supporting small business! I met the owners @K'kinaco Nikkei and Pisco Bar on Main Street in downtown Hopkins. @Kkinaco represents a business that started up during the historic #startupboom under the #BidenHarrisAdministration that utilized U.S. Small Business Administration financing and is going strong as the state's first Peruvian-Japanese Pisco bar in the region, which is a nod to the large diverse communities in Minnesota. Learn more how federal infrastructure investments benefits your small business at the SBA's Investing in America infrastructure hub (https://lnkd.in/gP_SHp8a) and by contacting your local SBA field district office in the SBA Great Lakes Region such as the SBA Minnesota District Office and also in the states of SBA Illinois District Office, SBA Michigan District Office, SBA Columbus District Office, SBA Cleveland District Office, and SBA Wisconsin District Office!
