What are the expectations of employees from WFH culture?
It’s almost 3 years since the lockdown and almost 2/3 of the employees are still suffering from remote working. Mass remote working has gradually turned into workers' new reality.
Nearly, almost 22% of employees have been surveyed that WFH has gotten worse for them.
Flexibility
- Expectation- Employees thought that WFH would have greater flexibility
- Reality- Less than half of the population suffers from flexibility issues.
‘Remote working without flexibility would result into burnout to the employees, especially during a pandemic’.
The office
- Expectations - The office will become reluctant
- Reality - Dissatisfied employees want to return to the office
In the pre-COVID times, employees were unsatisfied with the office culture due to the increase in office politics and wanted to have a break. However, when the employees are working from home, they are still not satisfied as they lack the office culture.
