The Power of Vision - Part 2

Nancy J. Lewis, MS, SHRM-CP, PHR, RCC

The power of vision in your life part 2 provides additional insights for you in making sure you live the life that God has ordained for you.

4. Improve a little bit every day. Each day take steps that get you closer to making your vision real. Be willing to do things others are not willing to do. Take a risk and know that if you fail, it is an opportunity to try it another way. It is having the resiliency to bounce back and keep going.

5. Be careful who is in the inner circle of your life. Everyone can't be in the inner circle to begin with and make sure those that are in that seat speak life and faith. Guard your eye gate and ear gate which simple means be careful what you watch and what you hear. Speak words that are true, honest, just and of good report. Recognize that some people are in your life for a season and be willing to release them. Be willing to embrace the new people God sends for new season of your life.

6. Open your mind to the possibilities of what can be. Be willing to explore different ways and strategies that move you closer to experiencing your vision. The power of vision requires you viewing change with a sense of positive expectancy and excitement. As you open up your mind, you are able to step outside your comfort zone and expand the boundaries of your life. When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone? When you have the courage to leave the boundaries of what is comfortable, routine and safe; you are not taking the steps to make sure you grow and develop more of your potential.

7. Nurture your vision and watch it grow. As you nurture your vision, you are taking ownership of your vision and ensuring you take the necessary steps to make your vision real. Nurture your vision with love, determination and persistence. Remember where there is no vision, the people perish. Write the vision and make it plain and be willing to do what is required to bring it to fruition.
