Summer Intern Spotlight: Catching Up With The Crew

Last month, we proudly welcomed our second class of 10 interns to our Essex Furukawa Fort Wayne office! Each of these talented individuals brings a unique blend of skills, fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to their roles, making them invaluable additions to our team During their 10-week internship, these students will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives that span across both our Engineering, Innovation and Marketing teams. With diverse academic backgrounds, they are eager to apply their knowledge in a practical, real-world setting. Get to know them better below!

Emerson Corbin | Engineering Intern

We are excited to welcome Emerson to our Fort Wayne Innovation team as an Engineering Intern. She is currently a rising senior at Purdue University, where she is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Under the guidance of our Engineering Manager, Russell Post, Emerson is working in the MagForceX® Innovation Center. Her primary responsibilities include assisting in the construction of IRIS boxes for our bead detection system and leveraging her skills in 3D CAD software and 3D printers to support some of the team’s ongoing projects. Beyond her technical contributions, Emerson’s favorite part of her internship so far has been getting to know her fellow interns!
