One of the best!
When I started Taskforce Uplift in 2021 with a personal mission to help close the digital divide and break the poverty cycle in the #military #community I knew the ability to leverage professional partnerships within the corporate sector would be of critical significance to bring this to life. Taskforce Uplift is 100% #volunteer and 100% of every dime we collect, gets converted to purchase technology for kids of #veterans (no overhead) and distributed through our #Veteran #Nonprofit #partners that deliver their magic to vets and their families in need each and every day. Tuatara Consulting, Inc. partnering up with the Kohler Co. KAVS and bringing the Veteran Alliance to life as a platform for these orgs to share their mission, reach new donors, and amplify their impact is another example of the difference #veterans can make when we rally around a common cause! Veteran Alliance Charity Golf Outing on May 8th, 2024 at Kohler's Blackwolf Run, is the rally point! What a JOURNEY it was! Doesn't get better than serving and supporting our fellow Veterans and their Children! Taskforce Uplift bringing technology to organizations on the front lines!
We started #veteran owned Tuatara Consulting, Inc. a little over 3 years ago from the ground up. During that time, we have delivered numerous solutions to our clients, large and small, that have driven their transformational efforts forward. We have grown and matured our capabilities through strategic partnerships with Microsoft, ServiceNow, and The AnyLogic Company. Two years ago, we launched 501c3 military oriented Taskforce Uplift and integrated it into our companies DNA with the mission to uplift the children of our veterans and close the #digitaldivide in the #military community. Delicately balancing the belief that it's possible to grow economically, and give back perpetually, if we could harness the force multipliers of our customers, partners, and the #military communities technical energy lying dormant within. This video put together by my battle buddy Bryan Regnier at VetBizTV captures the essence and the spirit of Tuatara and TFU in motion with Operation Techas (playful spin on Tech&Texas). 465 laptops picked, packed, shipped and delivered with a whole lot of #love to veterans in need for #veteransday2023! Corporations working together with nonprofits to deliver impactful results and proof that you can build companies, deliver meaningful value in the corporate sector...find success...while giving a little back to impact many in the process. We finished strong with time to spare! Great organizations serving the Military community now have extra ammunition to help bridge the technology gap with their clients in need. Thanks to Kohl's, Taskforce Uplift, and the tip of the sphere, Steve Cundy, leading the charge, with battle buddies Adam Wickersham, MBA and Bryan Regnier, delivered laptops to those serving on the front lines! VetBizTV will be sharing the story… coming soon! AMERICAN GI FORUM - NATIONAL VETERANS OUTREACH PROGRAM
"Operation Techas" was forged to support the Taskforce Uplift mission of closing the #digitaldivide within the #families of our #military communities in the great state of #Texas! Yesterday we wrapped up the final leg of our journey by dropping off 265 laptops in #Austin and Fort Worth! Marcelo Uriegas, Karen Bond, Eric Washington and their teams mixing magic on the front lines from American GI Forum, Anthony M. from the American Veterans Mission, and representatives from the local Kohl's volunteer teams were there to greet and share their stories! Special shout out and heartfelt salute to Heidi Hurda, SPHR , the numerous Kohl's IT, operations, and local volunteer support teams, Tuatara Consulting, Inc. and VetBizTV sponsors, and my #battlebuddies Adam Wickersham, MBA and Bryan Regnier! From El Paso to San Antonio, San Antonio to Austin and Austin to Fort Worth.....tech delivered, #mission accomplished! I'm always humbled by the work that the network of these #military support organizations do day in and day out to catch our #veterans when they fall, give them food, water, shelter from the storms of life, an opportunity to restore their dignity, provide mental health services all geared to get them back on their feet and reintegrated into their communities. They also reenforce our belief that in order to have equitable access to knowledge, education, services and jobs....our #veteran families must have modern tech and access to the internet to succeed with the reintegration process. When the #military community rallies....there is no road to long, mountain to high....together, we will always accomplish the #mission. -RLTW #community #nonprofit #giveback #teamwork Andrew Kohler Hunter Trimmel Dr. Bill Mitchell JEREMIAH GINN JEROME TAYLOR Chris Carson Michael Stramaglio Chris Johnson Arieana Milano John Hooyman VetBizTV Alan Winegar Sheryl Haislet Bill Becker Tim Linsenmeyer Michelle Primus Carlo Emanuele Sergio Dickerson AMERICAN GI FORUM - NATIONAL VETERANS OUTREACH PROGRAM, MoreTalent, El Paso Water, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Texas Workforce Commission, El Paso County American Veterans Mission Fort Worth Chamber

We’ve been documenting the journey! Can’t wait to share. A lot of great people are doing some amazing things within the Military Community!
The first day of the Taskforce Uplift road trip to Texas has been an amazing experience! The Uhaul has held up to the steady push of 85 MPH across the open road of Texas carrying almost 500 laptops and my battle buddies Bryan Regnier and Adam Wickersham, MBA to our first stops in El Paso and San Antonio! We were graciously greeted by my good friends Sergio Dickerson, Ruben Marquez and their wonderful team at the American GI Forum along with representatives of the local Kohl's stores, El Paso Water, MoreTalent, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Texas Workforce Commission , and El Paso County! We dropped 100 laptops at each location and even had the opportunity to meet a couple of the #veterans receiving the #uplift in person.......seeing the community welcome us with open arms, the positive energy, listening to the needs and the impact....and meeting these wonderful professionals who all take care of the #military community on the front lines day in and day out is why we do what we do. Amazing things happen when the #military community rallies around a common cause. Salute to all....half way there...Austin and Fort Worth await!
