Upwork I’m really disappointed with Upwork’s new fee structure. Now, freelancers have to use connects to accept job invites they didn’t even bid on, on top of already paying a $2 fee for every hour worked. This is especially tough for new freelancers who are eager to get started but don’t have the money to buy connects. How are they supposed to accept job offers they desperately need? It’s unfair and discouraging, especially when some clients on the platform make inappropriate requests. Upwork should reconsider these policies and support freelancers more effectively.

Better is to look out your policies.

Better pro tip to prevent burnout: Actually staff your company correctly. Freelancers are great when you need very particular skill set for a specific project, but they aren't a solution for long term staffing shortages. Do better.

Upwork your technical support is appalling. We have an account issue following updating credit card expiry and cannot resolve it. Been with you since odesk and your whole lack of support is unprofessional. Following research I am not the only one with these issue's
