How about a policy of protecting your main product, in this case the freelancers on your platform? Upwork's acting like it's on the verge of bankruptcy atm, hiking costs everywhere.
Mandatory 6 week vacations, Remote work, mid day siestas.
The same goes for Italy! August is OFF.
Fantastic idea
Upwork is not a safe platform for hiring talents. Fake IDs are rampant. People take contracts, don't deliver on time. Have very bad behaviour and then weeks later cancel contracts. It's very hard to get support on Upwork too. Had bad experience. Won't suggest!
What about this work policy. This is not funny Upwork Soon we will leave this platform ... you are charging us many times to buy connects for this and that and then you allow this ... its not fair. Or change the name to fiverr at least.
The ability to remove false client reviews, after the 14 day period Upwork has. Typically the low paying fixed rate clients are the ones who post unfair and false reviews. They take advantage of freelancers and abuse them. Upwork hasn't been the best when dealing with these sort of clients.
I would love being able to buy upwork stock directly instead of through brokers etc.... who charge a commission...
