I'm really fortunate, privileged and happy to be at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this week. I'm not going to do the usual "it's easy to hate...". That's not for this week and that's not acknowledging how awesome it is to be here, especially because I get to see so many old (young) faces in one place. I haven't been since pre-pandemic (!) and while I'm looking forward to the odd Happy Hour, I'm mainly excited for a happy week. Of endless optimism, audacious plans, and vast celebrations. Our industry isn't meant to be glass half empty or cynical of our own success. It's meant to be a positive catalyst and instigator of momentum and growth. If anyone else wants to celebrate, please let me know! We can talk shit again next week... #nonholdingback
