🌟 Once upon a ride! 🌟 Last week, TIER-Dott celebrated a new chapter with a 3-day summit. For the first time, we gathered as a whole team in the beautiful Netherlands, sharing our passion and vision. We engaged in strategic meetings and plenary sessions, but it wasn’t all work. We also enjoyed great games, excellent food, and lively parties. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues we work with daily and meet those we hadn't crossed paths with before. We began forming a single team with shared ambition, values, and energy. Together, as the European leader in shared micromobility! 44% less injuries with e-scooters in 2023 The latest study from Micro-Mobility for Europe shows a significant decline in e-scooter and e-bike injuries in 2023: in comparison to 2022, shared e-scooter injuries per million trips fell by 44%, shared e-bike injuries per million trips decreased by 39%. Overall, the risk of injury when traveling on a shared e-scooter is lower than riding an e-bike: 3.3 accidents requiring treatment occur on an e-scooter per million journeys, compared to 3.9 accidents per million journeys on an e-bike. TIER and nextbike going their separate ways to focus on their core businesses We have signed an agreement to sell nextbike to STAR Capital. This means that the Leipzig-based bike-sharing provider will be independent as nextbike GmbH. Over the past two years, together with our colleagues at nextbike, we have worked with passion on our common mission to change mobility for good. 🎉TIER + Dott = changing mobility for good We are excited to announce the closing of a financial transaction to merge our two companies. Creating the European champion of shared micro-mobility, with revenues of €250m, supporting over 125M trips a year in more than 20 countries. Despite only launching in September one million miles have already been covered on TIER vehicles in the West of England! Reaching this milestone so quickly is a testament to the stability and scale of the service in Bristol and Bath and highlights how important #micromobility is in the region. We look forward to continuing to work closely with the West of England Combined Authority as the service continues to grow.

We are excited to announce a preliminary agreement with Dott to bring our two companies together to form Europe’s leading micro-mobility operator. With our combined expertise, the joint entity will provide riders and cities in more than 20 countries with a safe and reliable service. With operations in major global cities including Berlin, Brussels, Dubai, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Tel Aviv and Warsaw, the business will be well positioned to be profitable and support the transition to more sustainable transport. The deal will be backed by a mix of existing shareholders from both TIER and Dott, led by Mubadala Capital and Sofina, and including Estari, M&G, Prosus Ventures, Novator and White Star Capital, which are investing €60 million in equity to support the long-term vision of the new joint business.
